Cheltenham 2020 - Ante post bets

....apologies if mentioned but I notice Paddy Power have started a ‘win at Dublin Racing Festival and Cheltenham’ market.

I was looking at Brelan D’As Any Race and trying to work out if the Plate or a return for the Grand Annual.
Now my hand is forced to ensure I don’t lose the price so have gone in on Brelan D’As.
As Elvis sung ‘Its Now Or Never,........’

The Bartlett is full of horses that seem the right type for the race, with good chances, and I reckon I have a solid enough team to not add Diol Ker.

Latest Exhibition is 7/2 Fav for the 2M6F at the DRF and Diol Ker is 14/1, with a number of others priced in between. Which could change, but probably shows the staying novices are a good bunch.

Would look again at Appreciate It to see if he is worth a pop before the price halves in an hour or two. :highly_amused:
With cashout it’s a safe enough course to consider.

Yes, I probably need to consider Appreciate It swiftly.

I’m not that sure on Diol Ker, and have a lot of cover in the potato race. Noel Meade and Cheltenham, I am not sure. I would rather look at him at 14/1 at the DRF, but will wait a while on that.

I'm sure Commander of fleet was 60's or 80's to do the double last year.

Apologies if it's been mentioned but Paddy Power are 80-1 for Presenting Percy to win the Irish Gold Cup then the Cheltenham Gold Cup now he's been confirmed going there seems a fair price.
 
Yep this has forced my hand on Brelan D'As too which is annoying. Taken the 33's with Paddy in the Grand Annual

As has been mentioned on another thread Kev it's still 80-1 with betfair
 
Having a look at one of those combo specials on PP for Notebook in the Arkle, Honey in the mares and CC in the NH, and unless I'm missing something, combining them yourself on PP gives higher odds than their specials! I know the prices might have changed with Honeysuckle but surely someone should have taken a look at the specials as well!

They won't allow those bets unfortunately.

It's classed as a related contingency.


In all their T&Cs


Most don't let you put them on, and the ones that do are *unfortunately* allowed to void them.
