Supreme Novice Hurdle 2019

Fantastic gesture last night by @SupremeHorseRac to donate 10% of their new purchase Defy Du Mee at York Cheltenham preview. Over £4,500 raised for charities and plenty of goodwill for Kemboy and the rest of the team

:encouragement::encouragement:

Happy to be a Supreme fanboy on this

:highly_amused: Haha

Added Sam's Profile at 50/1 NRNB

Likely to get my money back in 24 hours, BUT on soft ground, they may look at this race suiting him and he's more 12/1 shot than 50/1.

Same. Really liked his Naas run. Not hopeful he'll go here but with NRNB, why not?

He's just one that could dramatically shorten... and if not, we'll have our money back 24 hours from now...

Any chance Aramon goes to Ballymore?

Well, it is Willie - so you couldn't rule it out.

I'd swear I've seen them say he'll go Supreme.... but 16/1 NRNB for Ballymore, you'll know by this time tomorrow anyway...

Was very tempted by this when I saw the price, thought 50/1 was a bit of an insult after that Naas race - 1st day, 1st race so money back pretty quick if it's skipped. In the end I did it EW in the Ballymore, was 16/1 then, now 9s to 12s. I'd still like to see him turn up here though, especially if there's an extra place or two offered on the day.

So Thomas Darby dispatched Elixir De Nutz with ease at start of season and Olly Murphy said he cannot have EDN beating TD. So we have EDN who is beaten easily by TD but then beats Grand Sancy and Southfield stone. Southfield stone then in turn beat Angels Breath. On the form here Thomas Darby is ahead of EDN, AB and GS. TD gets beat of level weights by Diduleaveitoutto. Al Dancer gives Diduleaveitoutto 2 pounds and beats it in the handicap by 17 lengths! Fakir has beaten Fast Buck of Mullins an Walsh who has lost since. Its also only beaten 4 year olds who are double figure odds in the triumph, not exactly strong form. Mister Fisher has given TD and Didtheyleaveuoutto a good beating this season. Its concerning that none of Aramons form is on soft, only good ground. I feel for these reasons the winner of this race is either Al Dancer or Mister Fisher

Great, but you forget the form line through to AB. Seddon was beaten 4L by EdN. AB beat Seddon by 8L in his first run over hurdles. And if you look at Seddon’s career, he’s a very reliable marker.

Basically, you can crab everyone’s form very easily. It’s a great race because it’s so subjective. Personally I think AB will have come on a lot, and I think he’s the only horse truly capable of being graded 160 hurdles this year.

Mister Fisher beat Thomas Darby 5lbs, getting 5 lbs.... is that 'a good beating', as off levels they'd have finished in a photo...

Looks like Angels will move into fav tomorrow morning?

Angels Breath 7/2
Al Dancer 4/1
Klassical Dream 5/1 ????? appears literally 50/50
Fakir D'Oudaries 8/1
Elixir D'Nutz 8/1
Mister Fisher 10/1 and bar

Think Klassical Dream will come here now. Ground will be too soft to risk going Ballymore. Supreme is the race for him and once confirmed tomorrow I can see him nearly going of fav.

Just to throw this into the mix...when Thomas Darby beat EDN at the start of the season I was there with connections of the third that day with the ill fated Bang on Frankie. And at the time Olly Murphy said that when the winter softer ground came he thought Thomas Darby would struggle to confirm that form with the two that followed him home...it just crossed my mind given the likely going at Cheltenham.

I think this will be a great race and could have plenty of horses going on to have decent careers. It won’t be hard for it to be better than last years. Looks very tight between Klassical Dream, Al Dancer and Angels Breath. Mister Fisher looks a live ew bet as well. Can’t wait for the roar.
