Haha i noticed this too. Quite frustrating as i'll be there, but i guess it's a case of horses not being fully ready yet combined with the fact Elliot is running all his big guns...No point facing eachother this early right?

Hopefully he runs something on Saturday but wouldn't be sure on it! He must have boatloads of novices this year!

Few quotes from Jamie Codd in todays racing post -
Battleoverdoyen - "made an impressive winning debut over fences at Galway yesterday, is a monster. He was bought to be a chaser and hopefully he can go all the way to the top."
Delta work - "hes the most exciting staying horse coming through the ranks and it will be interesting to see where he slots in. You'd like to think he will make the grade and he certainly could be up to Gold cup grade this season. He looks great and is working well enough to suggest he can run a nice race on Saturday."
Malone road - "talk of him going to a winners bumper at down royal and if he does that would be exciting. I galloped him at Punchestown last week and he went well."
City Island "won at chelt and he goes novice chasing. Ive schooled alongside him and i think he'll be a top recruit to fences."

Envoi Allen "whatever race EA ends up in at Chelt (when asked what race he is looking forward to and why). I'll be very interested to chart his progression and see if hes a supreme horse or a ballymore horse. Hes probably the best horse ive ever ridden and he looks exciting."

On Nickys Unibet video stable tour he says that Angels Breath is going Nov Chasing, i thought from his ATR stable tour they said he was staying hurdling?? Maybe theyve decided that Rathhill is going to take that place now? Maybe Ive got that wrong, and he was always going nov chasing but thought id read different.

His comments were encouraging too, as was the clip showing him jumping.

Just started my 2020 festival spreadsheet and I’m a fan of using the weekly £5 free bet from SkyBet on the festival and have just put on
Brewin’upastorm - Arkle 20/1
Lisnagar Oscar - RSA - 33/1
Windsor Avenue - JLT - 50/1
Master Dino - Ryanair - 20/1

I’m aware the horses may not make it to the festival or run in these races but from a fb can’t help but like the look of this one

Thanks for this. Some quote about about Envoi A

Listened to Final Furlong podcast this afternoon.
Went and had a shower half way through, took delivery of a new mattress, put it on bed and got rid of old mattress, backed and watched the dartnall horse at chepstow, and ......

Delargy was still talking about the same fucking horse when I came back.
Absolute Genius.

I've always liked the idea of a related double... not the kind that get cancelled.... but ones where horses avoid another or a win changes anothers target etc....

Altior King George / Chacun Pour Soi QMCC is one...Or Cyrname King George / Altior QMCC for example....

One that's just popped into my head that I've not seen mentioned is from the Mullins stable tour.

Laurina and Melon are both confirmed as going novice chasing. I obviously don't need to introduce either, and there merits are discussed in the relevant threads.... I can't see either in an RSA though, whichever way we cut it. Partly due to the fact they were deemed CH horses (with Melon placing) and the other point being the yard already have some decent staying novice types in Carefully Selected and Next Destination.

So ruling the RSA out, is it likely they get split up? Mullins doesn't have as big a problem sending horses to the same race as people may think, but I feel fairly confident that IF these two end up being his best novice chasers... then they'll slot them in to the Arkle and JLT. There is only really Draconien from the top of my head for these races (although I'm sure there will be loads more) but nothing will have the Cheltenham Festival form of Melon or the hype of Laurina so...

Laurina (Arkle) Melon (JLT) is 314/1 with 365 only. Next best is slybet with 188/1

Melon (Arkle) / Laurina (JLT) - 168/1 with WillH - Only 142/1 with 365 if you can/want cash out.

I'm actually not that keen on either of these horses... so I've spent a surprising amount of time thinking about it :very_drunk:
A chase debut win for both and I think I'll be ahead of the curve though?

Got gubbed by Betway today and I don’t even match bet!! I use the account to genuinely bet but because they’re generally poor for value I only ever use them for their offers
