Cheltenham 2020 - Ante post bets

Thinks most have the self service machine now

William Hill is the on course bookie at Cheltenham , so there are a t least a couple.
of self serve machines there , if you need to do any last minute bets tues, wed , thurs.

Kev doesn’t like the Bumper, others dislike other races

Well this years CH has had it
for me ( selfishly :highly_amused: ) 2 final nails firmly hammered in yesterday :mad-new:

, closely followed by the Bumper as somehow I missed the fav at bigger prices and have been backing without much enthusiasm alternatives which I then subsequently cash out if declared then NR

Reduced to putting the fav ( can’t bear to type name as could be EA of last year ) in multiples

All the above will pale into insignificance when BDD regains her rightful crown and Chambers shuts his gob :encouragement:

Apologies folks just venting not ranting :devilish:

:encouragement: Feel better now HP?

28 races is a marathon not a sprint :highly_amused:

Two machines in the WH above the main parade ring, and One Machine in the WH under the grandstand next to the Arkle Bar (underpass).

Not sure if they have any in the Centaur.

Not many machines for 70,000 people.

Oooof ( there are good offs and bad oops , this one is good :). )

Yes thank you Kevlaaa :encouragement:

This years CH has left me with the same feeling that I had with last years Arkle

OOF. :mad-new:

Bit off piste but this wait is absolute torture!

The month between now and Cheltenham always is. Too far away to get carried away but close enough where you can almost taste it. The ante post bets are down, most of the cases are made and people are in that bubble of just wanting it to happen now. Trials for Cheltenham after this weekend will be all but finished, and its now just a game of patience. The handicap weights being released marks the time when I start to get properly excited as it will keep me busy and it means we are only 2 weeks away!

Currently making it worse when every Irish meeting is called off...well for me anyway!

This year I seem to be extra excited, most of the bets are down and the prep is almost over. Travelling down Monday morning and staying in Bristol! Can’t bloody wait!

The tortrurous bit is watching all your ante post vouchers go up in smoke.
I had 7 multis with Envoi Allen either 10/1, 12/1 or 16/1, all seven were in bets with Gypsy Island, Defi (Ryanair) Buveur D'Air, If The Cap Fits or Malone Road...

Reviewed my multiples last night.

They are all absolute garbage.

Can't wait

My tickets arrived yesterday, which has definitely helped ratchet up my excitement! Does feel long rolling around from now on in

Driving my mates mental! Constantly checking odds checker, Betfair and this site! Arduous wait this next month.

Any idea when we start seeing the next round of stable tours please?

I have a vague memory of the last week in February in previous years.
