Can be useful to be kept in check,
but I think old denman was a bit 'two footed studs up' on this occasion.

Might sound nuts.
But petit mouchoir at 290.0 is too big here. He's had a blow out, he sat out the back, he diddnt disgrace himself.
He was beaten by rashaan on seasonal debut previously. All I want is another run ridden positively over 2m now he's blown the Cobb Webbs away. If I'm wrong, I'm wrong but I think it's there.

but I'd imagine there's a few looney layers knocking about having caned something.

seen PM entered at dublin in a chase as well - error by me, maybe not, meant ryanair (knew i'd seen it somewhere)

He'll have 1 in the arkle. And 1 in the mares novice. There's a ridiculous ammount of novice hurdlers now so it's not as easy as it was. But his best imo in blackbow (ballymore) hasn't ran yet.

Neither was Footpad tbf, Petit Mouchoir had Footpad covered over hurdles, but Footpad turned out to be a different animal over fences, much to my annoyance, as was in the Petit Mouchoir camp!!

On hurdle ratings CE is the stand out as well, if he can jump a fence then we are on to a winner, and Scooby has put his money where his mouth is with regards to him too.

But he's said he's going to be a 'hotpot'. It's nearly the middle of January and he's yet to be seen this season, I'll be astounded if he's short in the betting come March. He's a good animal but I'm not sure why you think he's going to be out of the ordinary.

when people do this properly they keep all bets and document the outcome of every bet eg traded for loss/profit, cash out for loss/profit, loser and so on. none of this deleting bad bets posting good bets at the best best time. observers like myself will see a perfect clean book its misleading when you can edit posts when it suits.

Quite a few on here need to get off there high horse (pun intended ), the forums here to be read and share thoughts. Should anyone really care what someones has/has not got in bets?
 
I’m happy to have a go at 20s and see what happens will he be value on the day after two runs who knows?

Scooby is well known for taking strong positions in races. You can see his reasoning for CE in the Arkle thread. He’s not always right (who is?) but he flagged up CE early in the season, and there must be a reasonable chance that he could go fav (and yes possibly even a hotpot) in a race where the top 2 in the market have already been beaten.

I also appreciate Scooby regularly sharing his book with us on this thread. Yes, he does a bit of cashing out and laying as he goes, which he normally flags, and I find it informative
