Thanks. Don't normally bet that much but had a nice return on her winning Mares Novices and was so blown away by her that I just played up the winnings. Fingers and everything else crossed.
 
Would I be throwing money away if I had P Nicholls @ 16s for £20 to be top trainer for the festival, I know he has not many for the champion races but he has a good chance in many of the handicaps and in races like the rsa, supreme, triumph, fox hunters and so on.. he must have at least 7 or 8 horses in the top three in the betting...

I always think with bets like that, you could do a heinz (or goliath) or whatever, on some of his horses...

He'd need 5 or 6 winners to be winning it and you'd get a helluva lot more returns than 16/1?

It isn't like he has LOADS of depth, he just has these decent chances.... Quel Destin I suppose, and a few in the Fred Winter... but it's more about these above winning than him having depth?

I just thought 5 winners out of them 15 plus runners would not be out of the questions, and if they did win they could mess a few of my bets up so the 16s would be a small saver...
