Cheltenham 2018 Ante post bets

I'm in the middle of saving for a mortgage and can't be using the online accounts so I'm restricted to betting in shop. I've a few dockets for Cracking Smart NRNB that I'd like to reinvest but will they refund me straight away or will I have to wait for the 6 day confirmation stage?

Depends on the bookie...most probably wait until the declaration stage I'd say.

Took a few hards hits recently with ITCF, Monalee & Cracking Smart, but these are my live tickets, hopefully all make it there in one piece, we've all had enough bad luck with injuries the last 10 days or so...

has anyone heard anything about the mags mullins horse debuchet? seems a huge price at 66/1 for the supreme/ballymore considering he was a good second in the the bumper last year to fayonagh where he finished in front of next destination among others. i know he has had two poor runs over hurdles this year but he might have just needed those as he was late to start back after having a wind op. if he turns up at cheltenham he's surely worth an ew bet at those prices going by his form last season?

He probably will run in the supreme . I think we've all Learned that bumper form dosent often translate literal to hurdles. However his last run was better than his 1st, if you fancy him back him nrnb.

I've backed him 50s ew/, so 66/1 NRNB e/w seems a good bet to me.... taking a leap of faith but 66/1 is big enough to have a flyer.

So we could be looking at soft ground on day 1!!. What do we all think?, does change a few bets for people ?

Not got too involved Ante Post this year, I love the buzz of the handicaps mostly and not worth getting too involved in them at this stage. Al these are EW.

Thought I would post this as one in here that will give you all a good laugh!

Our Duke 33/1 Gold Cup - Only small stakes from last season
Snow Falcon 16/1 Brown Advisory
Whiskey Sour 12/1 Martin Pipe
Bacardys 12/1 Stayers Hurdle
Bapaume 50/1 Champion Hurdle (This was only placed in Jan .....I woke up in middle of night as couldn't sleep and set myself the task of finding 'value' in the Champion Hurdle......hoping it don't run as it will save me £60 invested!)

Soft ground would ironically firm up the chances of Getabird and Footpad for me

cant see it being soft/ heavy.
.soft good to soft in places probably the call .
Could well be gd to soft

yeah ive backed debuchet ew at 66 for the supreme it looks very open to me this year. hes just one of a number of high priced horses ive been keeping my eye on actually, others include sandsend, pravalaguna, eoline jolie, saldier, duc des genievres, road to riches, vision des flos, eagle lion, kayf grace, sutton place and blow by blow. a long list i know but if anyone has any opinions on any of those or info about which race they will contest it would be appreciated

Can't imagine they'll all run, Elliott with 5 entries & Mullins with 4 entries, be very surprised if they all stand.

The storyteller won't be running in that. The majority are not festival horses there anyway.

EW double,
Marias Benefit mares nov 6's
Mr Adjudicator Triumph 7's
Former 6 wins from 7 under Ciaran Gethings, trainer reckons she's in cracking form and should appreciate the track and anticipated conditions, expecting a big run
Latter, only entry, won debut hurdle by 8 lnths, followed up with a win over Farclas, hot fav 20 lnths back, time that day 2 seconds faster than Samcro half hour later.
Both must have a great chance of being placed, and a fair chance of passing the post first, just worried about traffic problems for Mr A, was held up at the back lto.
