I'd be inclined to agree. I obviously don't know your entire staking plan - I'd perhaps want my "footpad stake" back if I had the return you had from Footpad back but easier ways of doing that than backing SC!

I know the Arkle is one of your best races so lets hope we get a Footpad, PM, SC 1-2-3 and pretty much everybody will be smiling :highly_amused:

Easy for you to say Kev ! :highly_amused:, I have a significant investment on Sceau Royal ,
So would like to see him placed at least !:)

My entire staking plan. Is no plan. I just went crazy on the arkle when I thought last years novices who are going chasing weren't up to much. And PM 12s any race / footpad 33s arkle was too big. Then were still 10/1 and 16/1 any race respectively after bolting in on debuts. And took a huge plunge in panic of not seeing the prices again.

My cashout offer on Samcro, Cause of Causes, Apple's Shakira and Stay Humble is now up to 76 pts. (Was 42 when I first posted!)

No brainer for me now Kev

Stay Humble won’t make it and AS is the favourite I’d be taking on, i assume two wins and a place wouldn’t generate the same return?

Some Interesting Articles in the R.post website today ( maybe from yest ) , The groom who looks after C.o.C and friends,
Robbie power say's S. John in tip top form and 100% , but still thinks O.Duke might sneak it .

Ive asked you the return on the first 3. What about the return on the first 2?

Having only just become aware of the ladbrokes any race market I’ve just added Mount Mews at 20/1. Seems a really fair price given that he looks likely to go for a handicap (either the novice chase on day 1 or coral cup been touted)

A little dangerous with connections and aintree looming. I would like him In the novice handicap chase though. The right trip and he travels very well

True, think he’s on a great mark though and quotes from connections a few days ago suggested he’d go and one of those two races the plan. Would also like him in the close bros

Mount Mews on 140, do we think that gets in the Close Bros? I was looking earlier and the range last year was only 3lb (137-140) and 4lb the year before (136-140). That would suggest that even 141 could be on the cusp this year. This data is under the old rating bands though and perhaps at that level they're more compressed?

141-145 I was thinking would get in, he could get bumped a lb between now and then on collateral. Coral cup maybe their back up if not

Yes that was about my thinking too. The reason I was looking this up earlier was that I was weighing up the 16/1 (not nrnb) on Divine Spear, but he's been dropped to 141 and I'm not sure it's nailed on that he gets in.

Anyway I realise this is the wrong thread for this so I'll shut up!
