Cheltenham 2017 Antepost Bets

Have placed 1 Yankee so far, and have allocated myself 200 just for multiples, and i have absolutely no idea where to begin lol. gonna do a "Banker" Lucky for sure and then the "life Changer" after that no a clue. Suggestions would be most welcome.
 
I'd suggest scrolling back through from page 100 :devilish: Someone MUST have a winner somewhere in these 121 pages haha
 
Hi all, don't post on here very often but love gauging everyone's opinions. Did anyone pick up the Skybet 6 weeks to go special:

UKWIMH (Stayers), Lets Dance (Mares Novice) Defi Du Seuil (Triumph) all to win @90/1

Presumably they had Lets Dance going elsewhere, but from reading the posts on here looks like the Mares Novice is most likely destination.

Someone on here might be betting £1000 = 1 point...others £1 = 1 point. Talking in pounds(£££) COULD make it difficult to have decent debate on horses, because (rightly or wrongly) if someone bets £1 on a race and someone else bets £1000, you're much more likely to be swayed by the punter who is betting more.... HOWEVER, that shouldn't cloud your opinion... it may be that they are a millionaire and £1000 is the equivilant of £1 to you, and vice versa.

I find talking in points takes the actual amount of out it... I think you can guess what stakes some people are at fairly easily but I think it is more courtesy than anything. Others may have differing views though.

Well explained and always try to remember that if your usual point = €5.00, making your Cheltenham point = €20.00 won't make the horse run any faster!

I think Neon Wolf is different class compared to FO and EoD's C&D form is outweighing the poor record the irish have in the race... after all, UDS is fav and Vautour did win it for them last year... time for a change?

I agree with you on this, do we think hes pretty certain to turn up? I know there was a bit of talk aboutj him missing it. I have a 4pt win at 9/2 NRNB but dont have him in any multiples but I might start

So as some of you are aware, I backed Thistlecrack quite heavily AP in several multiples, all of which are down..... OR SO I THOUGHT.

I got straight on the live chat to a couple of bookies I've used for my AP bets, and asked what's happening with my multiples containing Thistlecrack...

SKYBET - honouring the multiples, Thistlecrack N/R, but SP only (bit of a waste of time back AP, but at least they're alive).
Betfair - honouring the multiples, Thistlecrack N/R, AP odds stand.

I've screen-shot the conversations I've had in case they go back on their word (also providing my others come in).

Hope this helps anyone else in my shoes. Would be keen to hear about other bookies and what they're doing with this.

Thanks, with that many there is always going to be some downside. Let's hope it doesn't get too much worse. Disappointing to have nothing in the Gold Cup (please don't re-route Empire Of Dirt) but I will hope to recoup at least the stake money on Native River.

Lads are a flat "NO" - bet counts as a loser.

In that case - do you think that SkyBet will refund singles????? (or at least provide a Free Bet?)

We don't get much off them and I agree it should be a no anyway, but good to see some being a bit more generous for a change.

Bit of self-promotion won't do them any harm. "look how kind we are"... if they can afford to pay out, it means they don't lose as much as they'll make back.

We do know the risks, but if some bookies are doing it - it doesn't hurt to ask the others...
