Cheltenham 2017 Antepost Bets

Absolutely. Tempted at 90/1 (Ladbrokes) to have a bet on Moon Racer, Faugheen and Annie Power. In the Supreme there is a fairly good chance irish won't have the strongest strong hand this year with no standout from Mullins (especially looking at Crack Mome as tomorrows entry, considering who has been in that race before but he isn;t shortest in the betting for the yard?) IF their form isn't head and shoulders above, hard to knock Moon Racer, and no doubt he'll shorten after his "low key" return whenever that is...

I do not think this is a great bet by any stretch, but I don't think I'll get those odds on the day .... No NRNB to save me, but the way the markets are shaping up, 1 pt now might look like a super bet on the Tuesday morning....


Might cover the same with Melon and Crack Mome too at 109/1 and 94/1..... I'm in danger of getting stung my the Ricci roulette here... better go to sleep before I blow my wedding fund :highly_amused:

Best to hold off on any (more) involving Faugheen bets until the Irish Champion Hurdle decs? Can't see his price changing much in this 2 week period then if on the morning of final declarations then put any bets on? At least then you'll get a solid idea of his wellbeing. That's probably my way of looking at it right now.

Haha! My wedding fund for this summer is the reason for the restricted amount of antepost bets i've placed this year :disgust: Fair play (or should I say a brave man ;)) for being able to have so much on antepost at the same time. Damn these weddings getting in the way of antepost! :highly_amused:

What are skybet up to? Just gone on oddschecker and they have pushed out Faugheen, Yorkhill, Douvan, Thistlecrack and UKWIMH..

Funnily enough I'm literally just off out to buy the wedding rings this morning! When I'm handing over my card in an hour or so, I'll be thinking about how much I'd rather be putting it on Boom The Groom in its next run on the flat :highly_amused:

A couple of nice prices in there, shame they aren't NRNB. Betfair were evens on Thistlecrack yesterday so whether theyve gone 11/10 to outprice them i'm not sure

I don't particularly like Yorkhill but feel like I have to start covering him at some stage.

I was expecting an entry in the mares novices but shes not in the betting
 
just looked up and she has an entry on 19th in the grade 2 at Thurles but Mullins has also entered Listen Dear so maybe just taking it steady this season with her
 
Yeah they might pop her in somewhere like that and get her round this year, if any of his horses in the mares novices get an injury then maybe supplement her

Don't think you will see her at Cheltenham
She won a novice chase at Christmas
There is no mares novice chase at Cheltenham
 
She was mightily impressive in that novice chase I'd love to see her run at Cheltenham maybe in the jlt now that american tom flopped and was found to be coughing lto. However when vroum vroum mag was a novice chaser they skipped Cheltenham so I'd expect the same with her.
