Cheltenham 2017 Antepost Bets

I guess the Supreme is an option though, albeit slim? The unknown of better ground too, with trainer comments saying he does like it soft?

Don't mind admitting I'm wrong (may have to on trials day) and will congratulate all that backed him but we'll have to disagree on this horse at the moment :encouragement: Respect your opinion though as you know :devilish:

The Supreme is an option but surely Charlie Parcs is the frontrunner for that race out of the 2? As you say time will tell. Do you have any strong fancies at around that price? I wouldnt mind putting a couple of decent singles into my antepost book!

I don't punt on any points system Ryan, I've had a smallish single tonight.
I have the horse in yankees and trixies so needed the single.

His jumping at Chepstow worried me but I'm happier he jumps left and not right !
I've said before that jumping off the straight can be a result of a muscle problem, but the fact they're talking about running him on Trials day suggests he's showing no signs of any injury at home.

He's beaten everything he's faced very comfortably to date, he must have a leading chance....

Fair enough Ista, I likewise have him in doubles and will be having him in a yankee/lucky15 soon so could do with a single aswell

I've had more ante post bets this year than I can ever remember, but what I'm looking forward to doing is seeing how many are runners come March and what their prices are as I can still see DDS being 4/1 on the day.
Only one I've got at a price that won't be close to his SP is Altior at 5s, most other AP players in here will have much better value from their AP portfilios.

We should have a thread (weekend before Chelt) where members post all their AP bets....

I havent had much cash this year so ive had to go for multiples rather than singles in order to seek the value. The only value I really have is I got 6s on Thistlecrack and 33s on Cause of Causes, hopefully they can bring the money home and then everything else is a bonus

That'll be some read! Will be good to have it noted down. I fear that it won't make for good reading, but I wouldn't want to forget the genuine excitement and pleasure I've had from discussing, punting and thinking about the festival from August until that date...

Faugheen - paddy power got back to me...

Death Duty 25/1 for the RSA Chase 2018 :triumphant:

Wow - Cheers Jono. Have they put it on the site or is a phonecall required?

You must have had a lot on because just checked their site and they're 10/1 :sorrow:

Stunning price. Could be one hell of a price this time next year

Presuming all goes to plan at Cheltenham DD RSA 2018 and Altior QM 2018 are going to be bets i'll have bits and bobs on up to the next festival

I actually want DD beat now jono, in the RSA in a photo finish.
