Champion Hurdle 2027

Racing Gav is on the Los Lobos AP Alexei train 😎
Just looked at it. He's on the EW train like me. Cant blame him. I do think he's one of the best priced horses of those that we already know about.

Maybe Talk The Talk isn’t going chasing this season and like Le Frimeur may have another season over hurdles for the Double Green as he’s only 5 ?……following the same route as Mydaddypaddy

Joseph has entered Talk The Talk in the Morgiana in Nov

Beat KRG to win his G1 last year and highly regarded by Joseph, but disappointed in the Supreme

66/1 for the Champ Hurdle worth an interest?

Has been as big as 300-1 on betfair, I had some at 170's.
The Morgiana entries are intersting in respect of Mullins having just Lossie entered.
I'm still surprised that he has not kept at least one of his better novices over hurdles.
I'd be amazed if one doesn't revert at some point in the season, or one of his older horses.

So much hinges on Lossiemouth in this division this year, and should anything happen to her or her form then it'll be a free for all.

A couple of my bets have hinged on this point. As with everything betting, you live and learn from mistakes. I know you hate them but Narciso Has is involved this week in a roll up just as a bit of cover. At his price, i can do it with 3 teams. I got very VERY lucky last year. I was going to back Sir Gino when he was about 33s and didn't when Nicky and Noodle said Con Hill was all good and then Narciso Has on Boxing Day. I had about 30 bets on Boxing Day. My first 5 or 6 won and i had already said to my mate i was going to have a big bet on the 16s before he ran but we got pissed and i didn't then he got injured. Got very lucky (And i had Apollon anyway) though at 40s not the 50 SP. I have pretty much got to where i want to be in most divisions this year and it's been hard work because i started late but i have caught up now. There are a few i need to add before Willie unleashes them all. Kitzbuhel sounds like he is going to the King George and Gold Cup regardless so that for me puts Final Demand in no-mans land (Smoking cigars through luminous balaclava ;) ) so he is one i will just chip away at with the odd couple of quid for the Ryanair. I already have him covered for the Gold Cup but Kaid D'Authie is by far my biggest return in that. I have been all over him for that ever since he smashed Final Demand into the ground. He is a proper old school staying chaser.

Joe Tizzard’s Alexei heads a small but select field of six potential runners in the William Hill Molyneux Hurdle at Aintree on Saturday.

The Grade Two contest formerly known as the Elite Hurdle will be run on Merseyside for the first time this weekend, having been moved from its former home of Wincanton earlier this year.

Alexei enjoyed an excellent campaign last season, winning a valuable handicap at Ascot, the Greatwood Hurdle at Cheltenham and the Kingwell Hurdle at Wincanton before finishing fourth in the Champion Hurdle in March and third in the Aintree Hurdle the following month.

Tizzard is looking forward to his competitive return, saying: “He definitely runs (on Saturday) and it looks a lovely starting place.

“He’s in real good form, he summered really well and I’m a bit biased but I think he looks like he’s improved. I couldn’t be happier with him.”

Alexei’s possible rivals include Dan Skelton’s Mydaddypaddy, who was last seen finishing a close-up third in the Supreme Novices’ Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival, and the Gordon Elliott-trained Mange Tout, a Grade One winner in the Anniversary 4-Y-O Juvenile Hurdle at Aintree in the spring.

Lucky Place (Nicky Henderson), Melon (Oliver Greenall and Josh Guerriero) and Morning Mayhem (Nick Scholfield) are the other contenders.

👍Gwan Alexei Baby !!!!

It'd be good if they all turned up but sounds like Mydaddypaddy is unlikely.

Lossiemouth now best price 5/4 anywhere
