Character in a late 70's, 80's early Sunday evening sitcom about pensioners in a country village.Who on earth is foggy dewhurst??
Think they had to drop the 'fucking' part cos it was pre watershed !Character in a late 70's, 80's early Sunday evening sitcom about pensioners in a country village.
Usually on after Songs of Fucking Praise. Think it was on for over 20 years. It was not funny though.
Not ideal TV treats when you know you have school the next day. Sundays were shit. Morrissey wrote a song about it. And the shops were fucking shut.
It's still shown on gold or watch on sky.Just googled…….never watched it
2/1 a place . Every bit helpsThe Con's
The downside with Alexei is you're only getting 6/4 for a place. @ 25-1
If Lossiemouth turns up you're only playing for 2nd or third.
If Lossiemouth doesn't turn up then you're likely bringing in 2 or 3 realistic contenders back into the fold, with more ability or potential than Alexei anyway, Brighterdaysahead (who may run anyway) and at least something else from Mullins that will likely revert.
If you watch last years race, it's optimistic to think he would have got second place IMO, as if you watch closely he doesn't really pick up again, and the same can be said for his Aintree effort (stays on one pace). The form of the aintree race is almost identical to the Champion hurdle.
Will he really improve that much after having had 11 runs over hurdles ?. He's probably ran to mid 150's the last three runs.
Novices from last season that are likely to run probably have more potential to improve up till March than him.
He's a fucking handicapper.
The Pro's
He may improve given his age.
If Lossiemouth misses the race others with more ability may not enter the fold. Historically unlikely though.
His price may reduce if he runs well in his next run which may happen especially if he goes for the elite hurdle (grade 2) at aintree and nothing of note turns up. Unless none of the Irish come over before March, and/or he faces up well enough against Mydaddypaddy/Idaho Sun then he has every chance of shortening unless he gets beat by another handicapper.
He may also beat the novices from last year and then it would look a reasonable bet, even though it still hinges on others missing the race IMO.
He may have been more disadvantaged by the last fence error than I think so could be slightly better than he looks
He looks certain to run if fit.
There could be less than 8 runners on the day.
Yep. Lossy it is.Need to pick the winner rather than a big priced loser. Alexei has no chance
No it wasn't funny. Just steady away. Certainly not on the level of Rising Damp which trumps them allCharacter in a late 70's, 80's early Sunday evening sitcom about pensioners in a country village.
