Champion Hurdle 2020

Cornerstone lad being talked up with the bad ground forecast I’ve had a nibble at the 36 on the exchange with a view to laying for stake back if he blasts away in front
 
Think I'ver narrowed this down to Epatante & Pentland.
 
Epatante may well win by plenty but I like the look of Darver Star and Coeur Sublime at the prices in what looks very open. Maybe not the strongest CH but think it's a fascinating race

I’ve got this down to 2. Things I’ve factored in:

- Irish trained if Hendo has 2 or more
- Trainers who are very good spring festival target trainers with previous CH winners on CV
- New evidence factors such as Supplemented, Previous failures.

I’ve backed them both already & unless they do a 48hr Honey switch I’m happy to go to war with both.

Forgotten horse.....beats a few much shorter on form and potential to improve

Still think Epatante wins in style and we will be talking about her for next year ......but agree CL one of best value at moment
 
Pentland is the worst priced horse at the festival for me. I just can't have him.

When he was announcing GVC’s annual results on Thursday last Kenny made a big thing about them having ‘played poker’ with Hills and others, saying GVC had announced massive shop closure plans after the FOBT reduction, luring rivals into what he reckoned were far too many closures. (Not sure I’d agree with that assessment by the way). Thought struck me that maybe he’s ‘playing poker’ with WM snd Rich R. here. Doubt it but stranger things have happened in the Sport of Kings,

She's the only one I can envisage being a class above the rest.

I'm already mob handed, but I think she's going to be my competition pick in this race.

A much better bet than Champ or DDS at the prices imo. Apparently the owner likes a bet too.

You're not the first to say that OV but I think she's being rated on one line of form, and that was a weak soft ground Christmas Hurdle against quick ground horses.
The likes of Cilaos Emery, Supasundae, Pentland Hills etc will be running up the hill quicker than they come down it, for me Epitante will not dictate and bully like she did at Kempton...

At the topnof each page of each thread there is a "search thread" button - type in Darvers Star and youre away!
