Champion Hurdle 2020

Yes meant staying hurdling this year, but unless he's winning the champion hurdle youd imagine next year he will be going chasing.

Sadlier continuing to shorten today for the champion hurdle, been given really positive mentions by Willie and Ruby recently you'd imagine must be showing well at home and guess people are reading into the form line with Espoir when looking to have him beat before coming down.

Yep. He would have won. That bit of form is clearly the best piece of form out there at the moment.

Also given strong shouts in the ATR & FFP NH season previews.

Not just being contrary, but that can't be right?

Saldier isn't even the Rich Ricci horse with the best piece of hurdles form out there!

Falling at the last hurdle in a g3 at Naas is not the best form on offer, What Espoir did after that and then at Chelt makes it look very very good obvs. However that isolated race is definitely not the best on offer and Saldier has to improve just as much as Espoir did over another 2-3 runs yet.

Better form than the 2 time winner, and punchestown champion hurdle winner? Who fell, got up, and still finished upside Espoir d'Allen loose.

Saldier was a good EW bet at 33s 20s. He may have won that race arguably. But espoir d'allen comes of the bridle, ridden in every race, its what he found off the bridle, and running through the line that made him what he was. Hes a far stronger finisher than saldier. The way ruby rides any horse, he makes them look like he has so much horse underneath him, we'll never know what saldier would have found for pressure.

The forgotten horse Sharjah was the other one hitting the line very hard last year. He's value for his winning distances imo.

“Mary Mary lol “
Form in the book versus potential
Bird in the hand lol

Aramon confirmed for G1 hurdles this season.

willie mentioned kemboy king george today archie.
that would be nice

I'd rather he went Leopardstown again.

Looks like most of you agree with me then about the Saldier form......lol ! I'm still sticking to my guns though. Think he would have beaten the Champion Hurdler that day and on that basis I reckon he is the outstanding AP bet in this year's race at the current prices. May be wrong but I'm more than happy to go with it. Much rather back him than a horse at a skinny 7/2 who only ran in the Supreme when the rain came.

Scared to check his price. I really like Aramon.

Oooh 33s, that's alright.

He's got form with the current fav and ground (it could be argued) swayed the Supreme result.

Klassical Dream also may not have as much improvement as he was raced in France prior to his 'novice' year here

You a fan too for this race?

Willie saying he wants soft ground for KD to run in WKD hurdle. Seems that this horse needs proper give in order to show his best form. Backers must be hoping we don't get a very dry/warm festival as we all know how quickly the ground drys out even when they try to start on G/S.

He's not entered in the WKD tomorrow!

Think he looks crying out for a step up in trip myself. Could be a perfect type to aim at the 2m4f Graded hurdles like the Lismullen, Hattons Grace, Christmas etc. Think he'd be perfect for the Aintree Hurdle too.

Sorry if mentioned elsewhere but anyone know why Honeysuckle not going to Down Royal now? Race has had decent entries over the years, notable winners Jezki and Melon. With likes of Apples jade and Arctic fire alomg with others in respective times.

Fusil Raffles got an entry in the elite hurdle at wincanton. Be good to see him
