Champion Hurdle 2020

Your fine, was just a general post.
I think that what everyone wants to see, I'd like klassical dream To go off in front get them all off the bridle and stay there.

There will be horses upfront near klassical dream that will try and go with him and win, but he has one way of running like faugheen, he'll wind it up and kick, if he breaks there hearts, or ultimately his own..

It will be set up for horses held up lke sharjah, supasundae, fusil raffles, that will be finishing their races strongly... in the arctic fire sort of role.

Arctic Fire
County winner great race record

I’m just imagining KD jumping the last in front 4/5 lengths in front with 3/4 in the chasing pack and then it went BLANK

So many scenarios :)

Monsieur le coq
Not so sleepy
Elixir de nutz
Darasso
Thomas darby
Coeur sublime
Melon
Cornerstone lad
Verdana blue
Eldorado allen
Gumball.

Are all probably going to padd out the field too.

Is there a reason you don’t fancy Coeur Sublime? I’m not on him but am tempted to take the plunge given his debut and speed over his hurdles. Trying to find an angle having lost my bets on Buveur D’Air.

Just that hes beaten absolutely zero. And his forms rubbish.

I don't believe that his run 1st time up in beating coko beach Is anything special at all. You can jump a hurdle as well as you like, it makes no difference if your not good enough.. but the fact is hes faced nothing on seasonal debut to put his jumping under pressure. Or of the ability to get within 50L of a CH.

We will soon see either way.

Last time coeur sublime was under pressure in a race, and it was a rubbish one at that this time last year, he fell.

His forms trash, I can see how you'd visually see great performance. But hes been beaten by some poor horses, and hes beaten some absolute shockers on seasonal debut.

I agree with the lack of depth with his form which is why I’ve been holding back. That said, something will no doubt improve beyond our expectations. I’m interested to understand who people think could come out from the pack as I’m struggling to get too enthused about the short priced favourites, at the prices. A bit frustrated as I had Buveur at 12s, so I’m hoping for a miraculous recovery.

Henderson has already said hes out. (As obviously would be with half a hoof) if you read the angels breath news.

Fusil raffles. His forms miles better than coeur sublime. A little shorter, but you get what you pay for.

Is there any christmas hurdle doubles around for fusil raffles?

Not yet.

Waiting on that myself.

If the price is right I'll attempt it along the same theory as Pentland Hills.

I like FR more than PH but "like" is a strong way of putting it.

IMO I would be surprised if Coeur Sublime doesn't beat KD in Leopardstown next Sunday and think he is still value for CH @ 16/1

On the back of beating coko beach?
16s is value?

The bare form of beating Coko Beach is clearly nothing special but for me the manner of his victory indicated an improved performer. He is lightly raced, has very good back flat form and could have easily improved significantly from last year. I agree with Pendil in that I think he’ll put it up to KD next week (although for the sake of the lion share of my book I hope I’m wrong!) and if he does happen to beat him then 16s will look big value.

Any particular aspect of the run where you could see he'd improved up to a CH standard from being 2 stone below it?
By having no pressure on his jumping by beating coko beach

Not looked at the prices yet but I feel like in situations like that where it would be a bit of a surprise, the bird would be better in the hand...

You could run any horse in the CH market, against coko beach and they'd do the same.
Even 50/1 shots like aramon.

Klassical Dream 11/8
Couer Sublime 3/1

:very_drunk:

I'd have thought Klassical Dream would be odds on and Couer Sublime one of the likely "each way bets to nothing" that people that don't like online gambling love so much.

No way I feel 3/1 is big enough to beat the Supreme winner - and if CS does beat him, I'll just give up on this race as I won't be making a profit :p
