This is what I picked up on - so maybe Willie is being honest and it quite simply isn’t a big deal, and they want a bit more time between races. I’d try and look at the positive side of this. At least we’ve had an update the same day as any speculation came about, unlike the Malone Road incident!!

If your being very suspicious, gypsy island was being mentioned by absolutely everyone and anyone, all over the sponsored pods etc... and blue every day. no entry. Then suddenly out with a fracture.
 
Not sure if been mentioned already but iv just seen the entries for the g1s at leopardstown over Xmas and envoi allen is entered in 2miler against klassical dream sharjah etc, I thought he would be kept to novice company myself all season tbh
 
I should have added he's also entered in the novice 2miler

Close finish with KD again for Aramon and he'll get slashed up.

Supasundae the staying on eye catcher who's paddled to the boards at half way, could look a bit of a dark one for the future.

Reminds me of the time when Jonjo oneil put up John's spirit as a real dark horse to follow for the season. Handicapped to the hilt of the back of big handicap wins. And a 3rd to don cossack in the melling chase

Apart from them saying it's been the target all year, so they've kept him back for the spring lol.

Touched on it earlier. Think you can piece it together. But

If you don't run it on heavy at age 8 after beating most of your rivals in the Irish champion the month before.

And then when reflecting on that same season when the only 2 races you won were over 2 miles in grade ones, and were beaten in every other race when upped in trip (including by L'ami Serge, and Penhill on his season debut).
You then start his 9 year old season and target the stayers again !!!

To then state that at the age of 10 he's targeting the champion hurdle makes them idiots.

Yet it was Stayers Hurdle once again.

Having liked him for the race the past 2 seasons it's tempting at 40/1...but I do have a feeling that Q might be right in saying his time has been and gone.
 
I bet they've not even told the horse.
They'll be scared.
Cos he if he finds out, I know what he'll say.
