I apologise for the tone of my initual response then. This will sound odd, but it was done with an assumption you'd know it wasn't disrespectful, but would bring out debate for the benefit of others. It's because you're such a regular contributor and that we've had so many debates previously, I'd assumed it wouldn't be taken the wrong way. I certainly would have given a much more balanced reply if I thought I'd have offended you.

I am prone to give a much more provactive response to the regular contributors if I disagree with them, but all with the best intentions

No probs and apologies if I took it in a way that wasn't intended. Probably a good job that I went to see a Beatles tribute act last night so left my response until this morning.

Sky doing a 'Stable Tour Boost'.

BvD 7/2.

Thought I'd take a look.....£1.25 Max Bet. :highly_amused:

Can’t decide whether to take this or not.

If Samcro hoses up in the Morgiana will he not be pushed back to 7/2? Only you have another month or so to wait to part with your cash before his reappearance which diminishes the injury risk by 1/6th

Segal thinks Verdana Blue is good enough for this.

Probably not....they shorten but dont drift others quite often!!

I was like Innoko, embarrassing amount offered.

I know oddschecker is used by the bookie like a fruit machine with flashing lights (without the annoying music)
but
Samcro now 4/7 for Morgiana with PP & Betfair. And O'leary mentioned he may not run ?
Some thought he was too short last time.
Either PP know who's turning up or they're off their heads. If anyone's actually backing at that price I'd be amazed

They must have tapped into the phone lines because iv never seen them wrong.

They were when they went 11-1 Vroum Vroum Mag for mares a couple of years ago
and 66s Carnadier on his debut in a bumper

They went 11/1 standout vroum vroum for ages because Annie was going there. They then rectified it suddenly and went very short, next day faugheen was out, Annie CH.

They can't not know, theres 100s of examples but the 1 that cemented it for me. Is there is no way you can go from 50s black Hercules JLT into 10s a week before other bookies touched him, And push him out massively for the 4 miler and RSA. You just can't guess that

I know Matt tombs backs the exact way I do in regards to pp.

Were they not standout shortest price Next Destination for the Potato Race at some point last season?

Yeah they were bigger on Vroum Vroum for a while, compared to others, probably due to NRNB with other bookies.
Just remembered it cos I backed it.

NRNB makes it redundant.

Without nrnrb they were 14/1 ND ballymore where the general price was 33s prior to his debut.

In the same race They also cut samcro straight from 16s to 8s before debut or anyone else touched him

Its a mixture of strong opinion and info. They do talk to yards/jockeys (as im sure all bookies do) but generally have to filter the crap same as everybody else. Their (over)reaction to new info (as in the above examples) surprises me, but i guess it generates interest and ap books are tiny anyway

They had Uradel 8/1 in the Greatwood ams he's not running.

Put me away there haha

But I agree, PP don't get it wrong under normal circumstances.... hundreds of examples.
