As I said before Annie Power was a proven commodity throughout her whole career
You can’t compare the two
She (annie) was not a proven commodity or champion hurdle horse after her first race or even her first season, so that's wrong.
She proved her level of ability over her full career.
Obviously cannot compare the two just now, but I believe the original comments were with regards to people dismissing Laurina simply because all she's beat is average mares, which was often thrown at AP early in her 'career'.
The point Laurina backers would surely make is
of course she needs to prove herself, but she hasn't had the chance yet, so it's potentially folly to dismiss her ability, especially given the style she's shown so far and her connections.
Or it may subsequently prove to be correct to dismiss her. (Laurina layers)
There is no right or wrong answer just now.
It's just down to each punters logical thoughts and vision to see the inate ability in a given horse, or not. Or whether they missed big prices or

not.
History shows that race horses generally improve over time so to dismiss a horses chances on whom they beat last time (in a lower class), as they then go on to step up in grade each race would be silly.
We have to back potential or factor it into our thinking almost every time we make a bet.
Laurina has great potential no doubt in my mind.
To what level, remains to be seen, and she needs to be trained well and stay fit and well to fulfill it.
