You sound surprised?? Beaten by a horse Nicholls didn't even bother entering at the Fez because he is do far behind his Supreme entry Grand Sancy. Wow should be saved for punters making AB fav for Supreme on the back of that run. He has no chance.

Is there no chance whatsoever that a former pointer, will appreciate a bit softer ground, a stiffer pace, and come on for fitness having had a needle in a few days prior to his last run?

The jockey seems adament he'll improve on that run for fitness, as he has catogorically said he took a blow during the race.

It's also a possible Southfield Stone had improved, certainly based on Paul Nicholls recent stable form?

On the actual figures he gave Southfield Stone 5 lbs, and he is rated 140, to be beaten less than a length, so he ran to 144 or 145? Al Dancer and Grand Sancy are rated 152 - so he has 7 or 8 lbs to find - I don't think that is impossible? (Plus they may not run to that rating on the day either)


That isn't no chance. There is definitely a CHANCE that he improves, and there is a CHANCE all the other 17 runners fall :p
