Looks like my bumper team all running except Farouk.
Got appreciate it in couple of biggish doubles,

Not sure I'm glad they're all running as only one is backed each way.
Could do with one or two more not bothering to be fair.
But I do like a good filly.

Appreciate It looks very good.

Might cash Ferny yet, as it would surely be the first time in history that someone has backed and cashed the same horse four times only to see it win. Be worth it just for the laugh.:highly_amused:
 
A race I made a real mess of, going by hype over Mullins runners and not taking the gamble on the right one! Then picking the elliott horse that isn't running, is that confirmed then Farouk not going over?

Might go shit or bust and lump on the fav, a lot of buzz on the horse and I'm a silly fucker who doesn't know when to leave things be!
 
A horse who I thought would make a dent in the market for the Bumper was Linelee King. Owed by the Thomas Darby connections and trained by Olly Murphy he raced and won smoothly LTO and cost quite a bit. He’s still 66/1 and I genuinely surprised he’s that big. I will wait to see if he’s confirmed on the weekend but I think I’ll back him again if he is.

I’m on at 80/1 which is still available with B365. Backed him on both starts this year interestingly enough the horse that beat him 1/2 a length at Chepstow was purchased by Murphy for Linelee King’s connections shorty after at the sales also has an entry here. He was quoted afterwards about how surprised he was to get beat.

I think LK was the greener of the two at Chepstow & there was a 4lb swing between the claimers. LK looked a lot more polished at Sedgefield.

Tom Lacey has a nice looking one as well. Adrimel, cost quite a bit at the sales.

Won both his starts to date, not sure what the form equates to mind you.

I’ve not bothered getting too involved in this race as it always seems a bit of a lottery.

Very very slow both times to date will need much further and appears to need slower conditions to boot. Be of interest staying trips next year IMO.
 
Yeah remember he was withdrawn one day as was only good to soft.

Think soft or soft to heavy will be his ideal conditions.

There was a buzz about several Murphy bumper horses at the start of the season but they all got turned over at short prices. He may have improved but enough to win this? It would make Blazing Port the best bumper horse in the country.
 
Drew just said he’s never seen anything go up Pipes gallop like IC. If ANY horse can give her 15lb in the bumper, they’re a superstar!.....I’m not one for quotes but they think they’ve bought the next Lady Cricket :stupid:
