Ballymore Novice Hurdle 2020

Exactly. If people want to do the supreme/ballymore debate again then I suggest reading pages 95 to 115, that should satisfy them urges :)

Was typing same but perhaps in a more “ Q” style :highly_amused:

I was genuinely surprised by the numbers of contributors on this forum whose Tipping selections didn’t have Envoi Allen the winner of the Ballymore. Is this a genuine belief he won’t win or that his odds are too short and you’ve gone for a better value selection?

It's probably a combination of the two. Hopefully The Big Breakaway goes here, I can see him putting it up to EA big time

Tizzard said here this morning.

Needs to win next time obviously to have a leading chance, but I wouldnt back against him in doing so.

Think several still believe the Supreme is his race

Still think he'll end up in Albert. Place prospects only behind EA in this but a winning chance in Albert. May be wrong but that's the way I see it.

Strange to rule out a horse whos winning as he likes, with his head in his chest. before he steps up in grade.

because you've backed for the wrong race??

They've said he wont go bartlett.

From a betting perspective I've backed him in the right race as any bet in the Ballymore would be a bad one for me as not looking beyond EA. If he did go there then I would bet place only on the day or in the 'without Envoi' market. Think Tizzards will see sense and send him to Albert. Fiddler will come here and M Debonair will go Supreme. That's the way I see it.

You need to run to have any chance.

Theye clearly said fiddler and master debonair supreme.. the BB Balymore.

Joe tizzard was on luck on sunday today. Iv also seen him interviewed 3 or 4 times besides that where they've had runners/ winners and been asked, hes said TBB ballymore and "their most promising novice" every time.

Cheers Scooby.
I'll watch it on the tube.

I've seen the previous after race stuff.

Willie Mullins added:- "It was a good performance by Monkfish. More than likely he'll run in the Albert Bartlett but he'll be entered in the Ballymore also. That was a good trial for the Albert Bartlett if that is the direction we go."

Had been given an RPR of 150, 2 short of Envoi Allen and Thyme Hill if he comes for the Ballymore, and 3lb and 2lb higher than Mullins shortest priced runners in the Ballymore - Easywork and Elixir D’Ainay.

I’ve had half a point at 33/1 that he comes here.

WPM probably won’t decide until the week of the race, and the others may go elsewhere too, or underperform on their next runs. All to play for when picking Willies novices.
