Ballymore Novice Hurdle 2019

Very nice from battleoverdoyen. exactly what I wanted to see. Looks a chaser - Gordy don't even think about doing a Samcro next season!!
And as scooby says hope tornado is ok. Hes not one ive backed but there must be something wrong there for Ruby to call it a day so early. Never travelling.
 
Cashed for hardly any loss but hope TF is ok!
 
Reopened for Ballymore but they seem to have taken him out of the Supreme where I had 2 points. Definitely getting trickier
 
Good but not great performance. Green as grass and obviously massive chasing type. Didn't beat a whole lot and the 2nd would be fair eyecatching.

Same, assume you was on at 25s too. . I'm not 100% sure it's a good move cashing him. But safety first. Can always back again in the future.
 
Interesting lads - nobody highly impressed? I thought that was a terrific performance from Battleoverdoyen. If he isn't fav for this now then people are blind to my mind. Slick, low hurdler with a massive engine. Would be interested to know how Kennedy compares him with Samcro last year. To my eye he is a much, much better jumper. The only worry I would have is that I think he could win a Supreme or an AB as well.
 
Battleoverdoyen won well , but slightly wished he went away to convince me fully as others all in heap behind him. That said only his second race so massive improvement to come.

The two mullins horses looked injured so hope both ok.

Was trying to listen while I was on the phone, but think Elliott said he won't be coming back in trip.
 
Ive got Battle in my book at 20s from this but beating Sams Profile by 3 lengths hard ridden doesn't make me think WOW. Am I being harsh?

Really want to see Birchdale come out and hose up against some half decent types now.

He won't go supreme. He was impressive only his 2nd run over hurdles and 1st at the right trip. He was green and will come on a bundle for that too. Should be a good RSA horse next season also.

Just a shame about tornado flyer which takes the gloss off it.
 
Gary o Brian mentioning the 3 mile possibility :heart-borken:Gordon not committing but rules out 2 miles.

wouldn't win a supreme I'd have thought, he's a chaser all day and jumped most of his hurdles like one. But would imagine he'd be competitive in the ballymore or AB, if they don't get all cautious with him.

Looks absolutely made for 3 miles over a fence...

that said so did Samcro :devilish:
