Arkle 2020

Nothing from England that's for sure (obviously going to regret saying this :highly_amused: )

Ok, then who from ireland?
Your obviously going to say fakir, when we've no idea how good that form is yet. It's obviously not a 1 horse arkle so who else?

Fakir D, Melon, Notenpok so far from Ireland this season.

Run them 3 in the race today, And theyd have been 1-2-3 your saying?

Any particular order?

Theres no right or wrong answer atm.

Actually was going to say Laurina but obviously Fakir has every chance just based on that one run, that was still better than what AD & Trump have done so far IMO!

Getaway Trump is soft and won't be winning a grade 1 chase in my opinion. That's twice he has folded when asked the question. **Cashed out.

Happy enough with Al Dancer and certainly not cashing out. His jumping was much improved in last time.

**Haven't cashed it yet.

People must remember that these were not even champion novices, so the ability isn't proven just yet.
They could improve.
especially Trump, as his form definitely picked up in Spring last year - allbeit in weak looking end of season handicaps.
The Irish second team look better at the moment.

You'll see a different horse when Trump goes out in trip!

Generally, aren't we looking for unbeaten chasers going into an Arkle?

Percentage must be quite high for winners in this race (don't have facts to back this up) :highly_amused:

Fakir and Brewin would be the 2 for me atm at the current prices and I'm on neither.

Out of Notebook and Fakir for the win, Melon will place. Easy.

Ok that's a fair enough opinion. Alot of recency bias, but Let's see if all 3 run in the irish arkle and finish 1-2-3.

Fakir has a good chunk of my money already and will be getting some more after that.

It's easy to stay unbeaten (like brewin) when youve avoided the race today. Obviously you think hed have won, that's fair enough.

My personal opinion of course and abit tongue in cheek on the simplicity of it of course but I struggle to see either of them 2 english threatening the irish. Wouldn't give up on Rouge Vif though looked like he hated the ground and wasn't beat that far.

Cashed out Al Dancer for a small profit and Rouge Vif for money back. Neither look good enough to me.

Going to top up on Brewinupastorm. Surprised he is still 16/1 tbh.

You could argue Brewins debut over fences was as tough a race as today's though.

Not sure how you could do that, when GBB was workmanlike against nothing yesterday. But your entitled to think hed have won that too if you want to.
