Arkle 2019

Last price matched at 6.0, I'd guess there's nothing in it. I'll put £20 at 18.0 and see if it gets taken.

Any update?

Can't cash out anyway but this will slap me in the face like a huge 90's Tango advert.

I put £20 up for 20 minutes but when I went back on the market he was back in to 6.0. / 7.0. it's nothing to worry about imo.

Ted Walsh just put in a word for Pravalaguna in The Arkle - not greeted with much enthusiasm. I know the feeling! But at least an indication that she may be coming here...

Lalor friendless on the exchange....anyone heard anything?

All I can tell you is that he looked in great nick this morning when pulled out of his stable...and well done to Dave Staddon for turning down yet another huge offer to sell yesterday...keep the dream alive!!!

Thanks WC.

My best result in this race.

Not confident though

40/1 NRNB is a bit of a no brainer isn't it.

I thought it was at 33/1!

My confidence has grown in the past couple of weeks, as always he improves from February onwards and this year is definitely no different...his recent work at Hobbsys was very good. The only negative this season was his Sandown run which in hindsight was a real mistake which Kayley admits herself...far too soon after his previous run which was as much the problem as the ground that day.

Clondaw Castle is being supplemented here rather than run in the Close Brothers handicap chase

Good money for Hardline again this morning 9/1 now top price, but WH still go 10.88/1 (with a boost) in their 'Any Race' market.

Feel like I might as well have not bothered :highly_amused::highly_amused:

21 still in this. It'll be nice to have a big field Arkle for a change

We have now made the confirmations for the opening day of the Cheltenham Festival.

THE BIG BITE is on target for the Sky Bet Supreme Novices’ Hurdle.

ACTIVIAL and SINGLEFARMPAYMENT have been confirmed for the Ultima Handicap Chase. We have also confirmed SUMKINDOFKING but his preference will more than likely be the Fulke Walwyn Kim Muir Challenge Cup on Thursday.

CLONDAW CASTLE has not been confirmed for the Close Brothers Novices Handicap Chase. Following discussions with his owners we have decided to supplement him in what looks like a very open renewal of the Racing Post Arkle Challenge Trophy Novices Chase.

If Clondaw Castle wins the Arkle I'll not be placing an ante post bet ever again haha
