Arkle 2019

Probably be about right Scooby, I have a knack for picking the right horses for their wrong races, Shattered Love being the big, regrettable example last season!

Still early yet cod plans are always fluid

A little concerning he isn't sure if he'll make the step up in grade?

I'm hoping he 'isn't' the Mullins first string in the Arkle so for different reasons we'll see how he progresses

I'm on Lalor @ 33's Defi @ 25's for this so really looking forward to see how they get on.

Very, very excited by Lalor there... one of my biggest bets of the week at 33/1.

I see what they tried to do on claomantakinforgan use his stamina from the front over 2m but he dosent go that clip. He needs holding up over 2 1/2. He'll finally get his step up in trip now.

A fantastic introduction to fences. 10/1 is enough to tempt me.

Well done Charlie, you are sitting on a great bet.

Very impressed with Lalor there, 10/1 still available and think thats a fair price.

Shame about Claim as had a couple of points on for this race but certainly looks as though he needs further.

Connections seem keen on Aintree over the Cheltenham festival which would be my only concern. Those on big prices, fair enough, couldn't go in on him myself now though.

Any idea the record of that race on respect to the actual Arkle? Runners/Winners?

Very impressive from Lalor. Poor Defi just didn’t enjoy it at all. Claimantakanforgan looks like going JLT now you would think?

This race hasnt worked out well as a trial. They've gone massively over board with his price he's just beat dynamite dollars and a horse who needs further.

100% he'll go further. He's been crying out for it for a long time. He'll have to show alot of improvement up in trip to be a JLT winner

My thoughts too. And I feel connections will likely prefer going primed for Aintree myself.

He did that well but it would be a disappointing Arkle (which at the moment this year’s could easily be!) if he was good enough to win it

Can't knock that performance, absolutely not.

Superb performance from Lalor. Aintree?? surely not.
