Arkle 2019

Not discounting Le Rich it is a clear danger. Note, Lalor beat Dynamite Dollars and DDS at Cheltenham. It totally powered up the heill Chelts, proper Altior style. Just think is if that Lalor turns up it cant be beaten.

I wonder how many people said 'can't be beaten' about Douvan before he got turned over at 2/9 :p

Yep its all on the day. I qualified it by stating that IF it the same Lalor turns up then it will be good enough. Trouble it is might not

He also finished the Henry VIII at Sandown like a drunk on spice in that desperate ground. Could have bottomed him for the season easily. All ifs and buts, nothing infallible in this race.

Is there any chance we get Arkle Cashout back or are we doomed?!

A little more hopeful seeing something to lay on the exchanges

"Unfortunately we schooled Cilaos Emery at Navan on Sunday and what we thought was a pulled muscle turned out to be a ligament problem. He won't be travelling."

Apart from Paloma Blue?

Paloma Blue looks a gift to take this race. Nothing to worry about with the opposition at all.

Pure talent will be more than enough on the day. Very confident

What prices have you got for him Donny?

Not much love for LR on this thread. He's got the form in the book. Should be 6/4 Imo, and I'm still adding from 25/1
Looking for something to beat him is pure folly.

18/1 win
15/1 e/w

E/W Double with Sir Erec at 98/1

Plenty of love for him from me now with my non-runner-riddled-race

Haven't got any prices yet. I'm a horseracing fan first and foremost not a huge gambler. I would be happy with 14s on the day if he goes here.

Not even going to begin to understand what that is supposed to mean.. Mr Muggins

Think you've been unfairly brandished donnyboy.
Apart from the favourite, all the others in the field have questions marks and it's not beyond probability that Henry's sorted this fella out.
The supreme was shit but this horse looked a chaser all day long, he just hasn't jumped like one so far.
But as an example Defi De Seuil was shocking first time out and now looks quite quick over them and lands running.

You sound like the guy last year who insisted that a particular horse would not be beaten. It was. Elegant Escape, if I recall...

Saw this and said on an earlier thread a 2 horse race dominated by the 2 Irish horses.

Now I see it LR , plenty of love from me

Paloma Blue was keen again early on that day. I would argue he's a horse with a decent bit of raw talent, considering all the above slating Donny.

He jumped pants and was still loooking like he'd beat Real Steel, a horse plenty on here have put up for the JLT.

He could go either way jumping wise. I like a novice that doesn't jump foot perfect early on, they learn to deal with errors better which will help them when in better company. But he doesn't seem the most straightforward so it's also likely he'll jump like a pig the rest of his life.

I was happy to back him in the Irish Arkle, but he was NR then, and i'd have rather he ran there and even didn't win just to see if his jumping improved upped in class.

Check this out from Davy (14:30 onwards). He's basically saying he has schooled PB and he was very good! Abit more promising!
