Arkle 2019

If he did do what i've said he has beat:

Duc De Genievres rated 146 + previous chase run
Ex Patriot 145 over hurdles with a run
Ministerofsport RPR of 140

Probably a very decent beginners form wise considering his layoff.

Considering what the race currently looks like, and hes best price 20s now, mostly shorter....i'd imagine he'd be 8/1?

I think he'll go shorter myself, probably under priced because of the yard he hails from.

I was trying to look at it from a form perspective + not as much the bookies hype.

He'd put us in a nice position anyway!

391 days off, Willie had a few disappointments already this season. Fingers crossed he is another one of them.

Speak for yourself!

391 days off, hes won twice on seasonal reappearances and ran nicely last year on his too in a trip too far.

Fingers crossed he wins and wins well.

Haha! I messed that right up... FINGERS CROSSED HE ISN'T ONE OF THEM.

:highly_amused:

Can get 33/1 with WH 'any race' for Arctic Fire, with the boost it won't be far off 40's, and whilst you can't cash out it does open up the handicaps, and indeed the hurdles route should he not take to fences.

That’s a good shout and have done so, only a small play and he’s owes me nothing after his county win!

What price DDG if he wins :devilish:

I know some have him down as a stayer but he showed speed last time out.

The forecast betting has Duc Des Genievres 9/4 tomorrow and Ciloas Emery at 5/1

Really looking forward to seeing Lalor on Saturday...he is looking in great nick, though the run will definitely bring him on. Perfect stepping stone for the festival.

Ruby just said the way CE has schooled over fences he'd hope for more improvement. :)
