Arkle 2019

I can't wait to see him run. Caused plenty of debate already haha

Excited to see CE tomorrow, with the weather though....i reckon it might be called off, hope not

Arctic fire is lined up aswell

Tempted to take 40/1 with bet365 with a view of him shortening

Could also see him going for JLT or even into open company given his age

I can't leave that at the price. I just can't.

His Cheltenham form (2nd in a CH ) and winning the County Hurdle off top weight means he shouldn't be 40/1 in any festival race.

Still very much hope CE is first choice and looks that way!

Can get 33/1 with WH 'any race' for Arctic Fire, with the boost it won't be far off 40's, and whilst you can't cash out it does open up the handicaps, and indeed the hurdles route should he not take to fences.

Wont go that short, surely? Unless Ruby gets off and says he's better than Douvan!

He'll only have to say something like he's the best 2m chaser we have and he'll be favourite, won't need to mention Douvan for that, I'm sure.

If he did do what i've said he has beat:

Duc De Genievres rated 146 + previous chase run
Ex Patriot 145 over hurdles with a run
Ministerofsport RPR of 140

Probably a very decent beginners form wise considering his layoff.

Considering what the race currently looks like, and hes best price 20s now, mostly shorter....i'd imagine he'd be 8/1?
