Albert Bartlett 2020

Added half a point EW on Vis Ta Loi for this at 40/1. 1 and a half lengths behind Fury Road last time but I think there’s improvement to come and he looks the type of horse who could run into the places here at least

Think they see what mark he is given and can potentially see him in the Martin pipe.

Yep, spotted the other day that he’d been given 136 in Ireland so even allowing for another 3 or 4lbs of British tax he looks to be bang in the sweet spot for the MP.

Thanks AnFiield- that’s pretty much word for word as spoken by jockey Mullins on the podcast. But when asked what trainer Mullins has to bring out he said nothing he could think of in the bumper or novice divisions & that Appreciate It Is their best bumper horse as Joseph as all the good ones - so I’d view it with a bag of salt.

Given Vis ta Loi has been beaten by Fury Road already & unlikely to beat Thyme Hill or the likes of The Big Breakfast if they come here IMO - I think they’re more likely to go Martin Pipe route as they did successfully with Killutagh Vic.

A positive mention for The Big Getaway from Patrick Mullins with respect to the Albert Bartlett. Thinks he’s significantly better than what he’s shown so far. In the same ownership as Asterion Forlonge and you’d assume they’d be split up with Asterion going Ballymore.

Maybe at the other end of the distance scale, but the owner has Shishkin restarting his campaign next week at Donny or Newbury.

I backed him at 33's before he ran, not gone in at the bigger prices yet was waiting for an update.

Also added after hearing Danny Mullins on a podcast saying pretty much the same thing. I think that form is decent and this one is a bit under the radar

I've seen one or two question his attitude when asked for pressure. Not sure myself on that but thought i'd share.

Cobbler's is still available at 33s which would be my current fancy

still get 33s any race with hills..

With the uniboost, it's actually 66/1 which is just far too big.

I've added him again.

The last bit of 14/1 gone in the Bartlett for Latest Exhibition, now 12/1 tops.

The Grade 1 over 2M6F looks made for him in three weeks at the DRF.

PS: Is their a Grade 1 over 2M6F anywhere else in Britain and Ireland?

Don't think so? If i remember correctly they changed the distance to attract 2 and half milers as well as the 3milers. Shrewd move

see Festival d'ex got an entry the 2m 6f too. going same route as commander of fleet.. both goffs bumper winners too.

unibet boost 50's festival d'ex ab...worth a squeak

Interesting shout there- If he rocks up here, Elliot has definitely changed from "keeping it small with him" as his next plan lol.
I suppose you have to question the form somewhat?

yes thats true.. i was very impressed with his bumper win though, first time up, great ride by codd.too...Ge apparantly left a lot on him for his maiden. when Gordo said he's a horse for next year i immediatly put him in my tracker and was waiting for this entry...might be a change of mind.
