Albert Bartlett 2020

Q You are correct, again .
Does this now qualify me as a fully paid up member of your “ psycho pant pant club ?”
-:)

You are the first member of the self proclaimed voice of reasons' fan club.

He's treating you mean but loves it really :p

Good few pages without an Albert Bartlett horse being mentioned in here too - it is nice to see Fury Road wasn't absolutely slashed for winning at 1/25 :highly_amused: --- 20/1 now is fair enough. Not going to back it yet but it's fair?

Honoured :)

Ante post markets are crazy but “ voice of reason” says “ it is what it is”

Fury Rd ?
What have 2 runs proven , decent horse that we need to see in a competitive race

I think there is a fair chance THYME HILL will come here especially if the ground is good to soft. Very eye catching in last years bumper, and his 2 starts over hurdles he has really stayed on well in the last furlong. I would be worried he would get outpaced in the Ballymore.

A Proper stayer who isn't to flashy, which is perfect for the albert bartlett

Owners have 3 horses with Hobbs but I know nothing about them , any info gentlemen ?
AB or Ballymore , what is Hobb’s preference, will ground dictate?
Have split my stakes 50/50 with 365 @25/1.

This is where I'd be backing Thyme Hill for too. And will hopefully get him in the book before his next run.

Albert horse through and through.

I happen to agree
But will review as season & targets develop and become more defined

I've got him and Fury for me at the moment but will add a couple more as season unfolds.

King Roland declared over 2m at Newbury tomorrow. Up against one of Hendersons better bumper horses in Son Of Camas who also has race fitness. It will be impressive if the King wins this over what I feel will be too short a trip.

As a backer I expect him too, I think he's going to be a little bit good myself

I think he'll be a good one long term too (over a trip). It's not going to be easy tomorrow as lot's of things are against him in my opinion.

Been waiting for King Roland to race. Be delighted if he wins over 2m tomorrow as see his future definitely over further, which distance you couldn’t be too confident on. I’ve went any race and also chanced ballymore purely because of connections but he could end up in the Albert Bartlett as well.

one i"ve been tracking since his p2p is faustinovick runs tomorrow at newbury, 2nd in a fast p2p to andy dufresne, hunted out the back in his bumper before coming late in to nearly pinch mcfabolous, big unit, family of inglis drever, albert looking like the plan.

I'll be watching that one too, cashed a small ballymore bet as this race looks more likely and was beaten on debut.
But I like this, as a long term bartlett type, just think we might have to watch it lose a few before then.

Derek O’Connor gave him a nice mention in his 10 to follow. He rode him in his PTP so he’d have a fair idea of his potential.

There was a boost to the king Roland form today when Stick with Bill won. Was favourite but needed nudging along pretty much the whole way. Was quite an impressive staying performance in the end can't see him priced up for this yet though.

King Roland still a bit green towards the business end of the race and clearly needs a step up in trip

I wonder if they would run both or either borice/ valtor here. The former has an attractive profile for the race.

Would save there chase Marks.
But then again they could leave there grand national in the bartlett.

Mad that they could run really.

Might get overlooked when NRNB is available though?
