Aintree Day 2 2022

Definitely liked the look of Hitman but crying out for 3 miles. Big staying type. Only 6. Travelled really well just lacked a gear

16s RSA, cash out option is there, but it's Paul Nicholls :devilish:

Gelino Bello might be the next BMG! Simple straightforward win

To be fair that Grade 1 was disgusting, winner won a class 4 lto and put in its place 3 times before that. I wouldn’t be looking at much from that race going forward.

Yes, it's a not unusual Aintree post Cheltenham grade race. While it does give some lesser lights the opportunity to win, the meeting has to be taken with a pinch of salt.

8 of the 14 in the stayers hurdle had won on good ground and so had all the first 4.

Fakir d'Oudairies is the Epatante of 2m4f chasers - just happens to be racing in the same period as Allaho.

Ahoy Senor and Millers Bank - two horses with the best hurdle form who put their jumping together at good prices :sulkiness:

Think he's a bit weak in a finish myself

The evidence is pointing that way looking at this year, but I’ll take a punt that he is a big baby at 6 and will come into his own at 7-8. Fakir has made decent horses look like that before…. Time will tell I guess. It’ll be about whether he is a decent price next time he lines up in a 3m chase.

….?655 Placepot today, seems decent given results.
