Aintree Day 1 2022

Taking a boost for Monmiral from that Clan win... Which you're right was impressive to be fair to him.

Also decided Jett wins by half the track and got involved in some lengths bets :excitement:

Zanahiyr up ok but I'm sure Epatante had that won - she's just unlucky to be racing in the same era as Honeysuckle! Pure Class!

Yeah think she had it in the bag. Hope that convinces Nicky to go for the Mares next season. Long way to go before that though, I’d guess she’ll start next season back at 2 miles.

Agreed, was a very tired fall

Will Biddick will be cursing himself for dropping his whip, bad luck as horse kept finding

Porlock bay would have won easy if biddick didn't drop his whip there

I know they're amateurs but Jesus christ, Will Biddicks finished on the bridle there:anonymous:

I love the David Maxwell story, but the poor bloke has got nothing in a finish!

Just proves how good Honeysuckle is. Utter class.

Well I thought Late Night Pass was too short a price but the class P2P jockey won the race. Maybe Cat Tiger next year when he's a 9-y-o?

Agree. Didn't realize he'd dropped it. Was watching him and wondering why he was waiting.

Think they'll retire her after that. Would be an insult to go for a Grade2 with her. She deserves better. She'll make an incredible broodmare.

Anyone with a better understanding of rules able to help me

I've got an Antepost treble starting off with Pied Piper today, it's been settled as a loser but am I right in thinking it should be as a winner / deadheat as it Antepost only considers FPTP which was a declared deadheat?

The Last Day - that was good. The only course winner when he beat Baby King in a canter, and he was going easy when falling LTO. One of those talented horses who must be difficult to train and keep fit, therefore lightly raced for a 10-y-o.
