‘26 Mares Novice Hurdle

Looking through these apart from the top 2 it looks worth a flyer at Chosen Comrade at at about 40s. I think the last run can be forgiven, didnt stay on the heavy ground in Punchestown.
The 1st time out was very promising, and next time really looked the part in Limerick beating a fairly good yardstick pretty comfortable and has been put away since mid december , goes well off a break so far and If the ground stays decent the 1st race on the fresh ground on the new course should be perfect. Trainer and connections fancy another Surprise package.
I agree (of course). I am very surprised at the prices, and she would have been 20's at the most had she not run. at Punchestown. She's in great form, and we think has a real chance on this much better ground

Paul I really hope she wins for you, that's not pocket Talk either i just love the thought of a winning owner on FJ. I will be cheering her home for you. Good Luck

Absolutely insulting price. I honestly do not understand it. She is working better than ever, and Sam Ewing won't have out of the places on ground she will enjoy. She scoped perfectly this morning. If we hadn't run at Punchestown (on ground far too heavy) she would be 20's or less. We're not going for a day out. @Istabraq I was down at William Hill!!

….worth a read re Chosen Comrade;

Nice one eggs. Enjoyed that. Bit of ground to make up on echoeing silence (who I like) but definitely incorporated into the price. Love a bit of form over much further in this race.

Old school outlaw out to 11/2. Appreciate Gordon’s form, but this is becoming each way thievery surely??

Sam Ewing has broken his collarbone, and we have replaced him with Donagh Meyler. Very happy with that, but feel very sorry for Sam who is not having much luck. 100/1 is a crazy price. Here's a blog and a couple of videos: https://www.cheltenhamdream.com/blog-diary/2026/3/11/one-day-to-go
Gutted for Sam.

Love the write up and Vids.

Have backed him again EW 100/1 Top 4 and also @ 40/1 top 6 with B365 in their Each Way Extra market which goes all the way to 10 places !!

The very best of luck BOF. Have a great day whatever the result.

I'd be very worried about the ground. Bambino is a Jukebox Jury so should thrive on it. There are other good ground horses in here too. Future Prospect shouldn't mind the ground, for example.

Not just the ground, she's very likely to need further as well. The combination of the two explains the price drift.

Fair, I didn’t think the ground was going to be quite so good….expected a little more watering. Currently doing rain dance.

Could be way off the mark, but I think Mille et Une Vies is an outstanding EW price @ 40s

She's a proper one imo

She could well just be good enough, but first time out over here on decent ground, maybe my only concern.

Could get taken off her feet a little.

It's a strong enough test the MNH and she was a prominent runner on G/S in the Sagan, even heading Selma.

I'm in Kopeck de mee territory here

Also went in 20s EW w/o bambino and oldschool

I've liked Le Conquiere for a while now and backed her antepost
She looks very quick, but I do want to back one from Ireland at bigger price

So adding Place De La Nation (Win, W/O Fav, Place). Quick turnaround last year, to run 5th in the Triumph, so she has some decent CD form.
She's ran well on return, but a lot of the RP comments mentioned "outpaced". I feel she needs a strong pace. Yup, she was beaten right out by Oldschool Outlaw, she had to do all the hard work up front in heavy ground. I think she will run well at much better prices - there are some poor mares in this race and also not keen on any of the fillies ahead of her in the market. Feel conditions will go ahead Outlaw, and Bino is too short for me
