‘26 Mares Novice Hurdle

It may not be surprising but... Bambino Fever being pretty well backed here isn't she. Reckon she'll go off real short.

Lay!

Seems like everyone in the Mullins camp has her as their Banker.

She must be showing up real well at home.

Agree, she's well short.

At the start of the season Bambino Fever was favourite for the Supreme. I was daft enough to fall for that. In reality never a chance. Just two mares' only races, and she got beat fair and square in one. Her jumping looks too ponderous, and the advantages she might have had in bumpers, seem to have disappeared. She looks as if she needs a trip to offset the jumping, and on drying ground I can see her being very vulnerable.

Just watched Gavin Lynch give his thoughts across the may races

Waste of time really, the supreme was too hard, stick a fiver on this and that - it’s not really a profitable race

But when it comes to the novice mares, Bambino pretty much his nap

Can see her being really short come the race

There's enough in it to be against her.

The two Jim mentions. Henry's mare always got to be interesting, and done nothing wrong. La Conquiere probably about as highly rated as any of them and has taken on some more experienced types.

Recent history of beaten favs and decent priced winners in this as well.

Hoping for some odds on

Echoing Silence is definitely on my to do list.

4/1 now for Oldschool Outlaw
Popular with the each way scumbags? (Of which I am one)

Anyone know if there is an issue with Carrigmoornaspruce? Long thought she should be single figures, but there has been little market support.
being ignored because of connections but Johnny Dineen seemed to confirm shes been bought by new owners for Cheltenham

I think she’s got a great Constitution and could go close.

Will Bambino fever be getting 5lbs from oldschool outlaw in this? On racing post app has them down to carry same weight but I always thought in this race winners of graded races like oldschool has had a 5lb penalty?

I think that was done away with but not 100% sure.

Edit - aurora vega won the solerina last year and ran off levels at cheltenham so yeah that seems to be gone.

Ah ideal, fancy oldschool outlaw myself and always had it in my mind shed have a penalty and bf wouldnt

In their wisdom the BHA have done away with penalties for the Mares Hurdle and Novice Hurdle, but they remain for the Mares Chase.

Looking through these apart from the top 2 it looks worth a flyer at Chosen Comrade at at about 40s. I think the last run can be forgiven, didnt stay on the heavy ground in Punchestown.
The 1st time out was very promising, and next time really looked the part in Limerick beating a fairly good yardstick pretty comfortable and has been put away since mid december , goes well off a break so far and If the ground stays decent the 1st race on the fresh ground on the new course should be perfect. Trainer and connections fancy another Surprise package.

Might be worth waiting for the exchanges to open again because he was much bigger on there

Was weakness on the machine for her yesterday, but Mille et Une Vies is in the confirmations
