2027 The Prices on Offer

I've backed El Cairos at 66/1 for the Champion Hurdle.

5th in the Supreme wouldn't normally be where I'd look for Champion Hurdle winners but there were a few positives. And there's plenty to work with.

Where is he 66's? Sorry, I'm too lazy to scour the individual websites.
 
Aye. Actually tempted with an early each way! It's surely the only race he can go for. And there's not too many others heading that way I'd say.

Yeah you could do. Not sold myself but can see the angle. Do you think Lossiemouth will return?
 
I know MNH winners have a poor record in the race, and she wasn't a fancied sort today, but 50/1 about White Noise for next years Mares Hurdle is borderline disrespectful.

She's the one to beat for sure, and will surely return all being well. But with a mare like that there's always going to be a temptation to retire her if anything didn't go quite to plan.

Suppose one of the Triumph lot could put their hand up yet, but you know 5 year olds and that...
 
Just looking at next year's stayers market after this renewal and spotted the new lion at 50/1, never looked a 2miler to me, cant see them going chasing as 7yo turning 8 next season and cant see him getting any quicker as he ages so reckon they could up him in trip.

Has Skelton said that Mydaddypaddy is going over fences? If he hasn't, I don't understand why he is single figures for an Arkle and 33/1 for a Champion Hurdle. It looked very much as if he was the possible Champion Hurdle horse in the Supreme. Jumps and has the speed, two things that The New Lion didn't have.

I think he said post race that he'll go chasing, or at least hinted at it, but I'm not 100% sure.

I wouldnt take much notice of that though myself, could all change very easily once they actually properly think about it. Said today that kabral will go chasing too. New lion probably not going to win a champion hurdle, so maybe chasing for him too, or stayers.

You'd imagine he's going to aim something at the champion given it doesnt look the strongest division.

….its been a long few days but i ‘think’ somebody posted the quote saying he’ll be aimed at Arkle, only one target next year.

….was waiting for Hills to offer something better but not looking like they’re posting any.
 
…..not sure if plan is to go chasing but 33-1 Mighty Park for Ark seems reasonable (only 16-1 Hills). He’s clearly very well thought of.
