2026 Ryanair Chase

And does anyone else think champ kiely could be a good bet for the king George ? Can see 33/1 at the moment, any chance he runs ?

…stable tours;

‘He’s improving and would look a candidate for the King George. We might start him off in the Clonmel Oil Chase or the John Durkan.’

CHAMP KIELY

He’s in great shape. He won a Grade 1 at the Punchestown Festival on his first start at around three miles. That would mark him out as a Grand National contender.

No matter how hard I try to find a bet in the Ryanair I simply cannot see past Fact To File. He looks caste iron. Feel the same about Lossiemouth in the Mares Hurdle. They both look absolute Bankers to me. Boring I know but just watch how easily they both won last year and this year they are more mature and at their peak age wise. And Willie is a creature of habit. I fee sure they heading back to the two races they each won last year.

Prices have taken a bit of a hit since stable tours but the double still pays around 8/1, there may be slightly better out there...

I’m thinking about backing the horse that finished second to F2F, Heart Wood

Henry’s wasn’t firing until the festival where this lad finished 2nd in a very interesting race which had a lot of pace up front. Only 7, Henry quoted as saying he doesn’t think he stays. Horse has form line with Galophin, F2F and inothewayurthink

He could go King George, I’ve had a small bet as I do like ex-Ryanair horses for that race. Henry doesn’t think he’s a staying 3 miler, so a sharp King George may be his max distance, so GC will likely be out of the question

He jumped well in the Ryanair, sat 2-3 lengths of F2F, sometimes 4-5 lengths. Maybe the patient ride helped him secure 2nd?? I think he was going max pace for most of the race and did well to finish so strongly and well clear of the rest

If F2F doesn’t make it to the Ryanair, then I’d be happy sitting on 33/1 - heart Wood - not much left of the 33/1

Looking at the market, that’s a joke of a price - and I have him clear of most of the horses ahead of him

F2F is the most likely winner, he’s a amazing horse at this distance, but we have 4 months where anything could happen, so I’ll be backing the bigger prices

+ I’d be looking at backing Heart Wood W/O fav closer to the race

Big blow for the race that Caldwell Potter is out for the season.

Might as well give it to Fact To File now :ROFLMAO:

There will be plenty more to come for sure !
No doubt about it. If Caldwell's race was already confirmed by this point, i would have already backed him. Dodged a bullet on this occasion. I backed The Jukebox Man and Croke Park this morning. Croke's future will be decided after thee weekend is over so taken a chance, and i called it a while back so kind of have to :ROFLMAO:

Struggles in Grade 1 company doesn't he, might find life a bit tougher outside of novice company too.
I expect him to win today, likes it round Down Royal & I suspect Croke Park might have the handbrake engaged for a few runs this winter.

*Cue Firefox going unbeaten this season without being asked for an effort once.*

Backed him for the King George, outsider, small bet... I was hoping to see him coming back for the Cotswolds chase, but if if he gets slammed in the JD and KG, then could be straight into a handicap

Gidleigh Park is one worthwhile monitoring with a couple of entries to his name on the horizon.

His form last year is very solid if his heart issues are managed properly going forward.

40/1 available with Flutter.

Think he has a Haldon Gold Cup entry ? Could be a proper race that.
