2026 Ryanair Chase

On last season's form he'd have gone past Gaelic first time up imo. Could be a Spring horse though.
He barely went past spillanes tower first time up last season 😂

He's had one bad run, on a track that loads of good horses just haven't liked for whatever reason. I'd have no worries about him personally

He should have beaten Gaelic imo and ran really flat in KG. No like.

If you look at fact to files form, I just don't think he's that good. Impressive twice at Cheltenham but he beat montys star and then heartwood.

Is it his BANC race that they said the horses behind have run 26 times since and not won ??

I think he is a good horse and when fully fit is very good but he isn't unbeatable and as feared, could have left his season in the John Durkan. I don't know how a performance like that affects a horse trying to build up to fitness but it seems to have sent him backwards. Gaelic looked better but is probably affected too. He should have really been winning the KG (glad he didn't) and now i would just leave them both off until Cheltenham, which is a possibility now i would say.

He's top class Fact to File and an odd one to knock.

Reckon I could've picked which members would be for or against him here though (no offence to anyone 😂 )

Really don’t see why a horse can’t be knocked, as you call it, if the horse has just put in a performance that FTF did on Boxing Day.
No issue with people giving reasoned opinions as to why it’s harsh to criticise or knock, but no horse is exempt from that if anyone feels it’s justified.

Is there any chance Jukebox Man comes here? Wondering whether to take my cash out profit and reinvest on the Gold Cup. Thoughts welcome!

Yep, today's result leaves the race open (Gold cup) and so the main protagonists in the King George will all fancy their chances you'd think.
Might be building up to a brilliant renewal in terms of numbers and competition.

Yea that’s my thoughts after today’s race. You would think plenty will fancy their chances and be willing to roll the big dice come March.

In turn, the Ryanair could end up being a very weak renewal

We may well be saying the same re the CH tomorrow.

Done that Trixie yet Q??

No, although should have took the 33's Haiti yesterday.
Think I was annoyed that O'Connell never got up like he normally does.
But I'm not too fussed as he'll probably get outpaced early and struggle.

You think so ? I reckon he'll be the pace setter. No better jockey aboard either. The race has been blown wide open. Burrough Hill Lad, Native River, Haiti Coleurs????

Depends on where you think they'll run the Jukebox at next?
Or if they will go straight there, as it may effect the price

If I've backed a horse antepost for the GC, and its just won the KG, I'd be leaving it on.
Don’t quote me o. This but sure I recall Pauling saying straight to the festival now on ITV post race

I've been wrong plenty of times before but I cannot see a way Haiti is good enough to win a GC. On ratings he isn't far off but he's of the Tiger Roll mould imo who will win these handicaps off pretty much any weight, to earn their rating, but isn't good enough to bridge the gap to G1 standard when faced with those animals.
