2026 Novice Hurdlers

That would be great, cheers :)
Okay I’ve just checked my normal places and can’t find it in an article, so he must have said it when he was interviewed. Less helpful is that I watched some racing on RTV and some on RTE !!

No worries, thanks for looking though (y)

On a related but slightly different topic, has anyone tracked the novices that Elliott might get sufficient runs in for the Pipe?

Wendrock, although not a novice, was mentioned previously.

Kazansky was on my list, he's had three but just won a G2, albeit, only by a head from a 126 rated horse!

Kalypso'chance three runs.

Cinammon Roll five runs.

These were the first 4 on my list, anyway.

I looked at his runners in it last year and the 2 novices he ran in it had already had 4 or 5 runs by now - enabler and minella sixo.
His other three runners were all ex juveniles with plenty of experience.
I think the needing 5 runs things will have changed the MO for this race.

Assuming he re-declares, Kovanis will be having his fourth run in the Lawlors so could squeeze one more in still

Those on 3 runs and running imminently has to be likely ones. He wouldn’t usually be looking to get that many runs in by January for any other reason.

Kovanis is huge. The type to make a really nice chaser later. I was at the sale at Cheltenham when he made a big price, and he really stood out.

It was on one of his stable tours Spectre. He said something along the lines of 2 and a half miles is his trip.

Future chasers have historically fared well in the MP.

Agreed. He's already stated a Turners preference, so it’s why he’s running him there and Jalon would easily slot into the Bartlett if it works out well. I suspect the race will also decide Ballyfad’s destination.
Jalon D’Oudairies is 100/1 for both the Turners and the AB. That has to be worth a punt doesn't it.

I haven't had a bet but would have Classical Creek down for the Turners. He looks to be Gordon's top horse for the Lawlors Of Naas based on jockey booking and odds and the majority of these horses have ran at the midtrip or Supreme with only Death Duty going for the AB in the last 10 years.

The form of his maiden is gash though isn't it ?
Those in behind have ran around 26 times and not one has won a race.
Think 2 have placed.
I'll be surprised if he's a horse with any sort of gears myself.
Bartlett or bust for me.

Thanks Yosser. I’m pretty sure he repeated it in a TV interview at Leopardstown then. I usually just cut and paste quotes like that and it’s in my words in my tracker.

Yes it is but it was only his first run of the season and Gordon's have been improving massively for the run. I'd rather take the fact it is Gordon's main horse in this race over the debut performance, especially as Gordon seems to have a better bunch to choose from this year.

Anyone got any news on this "Fou de too" for Mullins and the donneleys ? 16/1 general and is Mullins shortest in the betting but has yet to make his debut since joining Mullins. It's strange for Mullins to not have anything shorter in the betting than a 16/1 at this point

Kovanis is one iv had on my mind for the MP too when I saw him declared for the Lawlors first time round and being the rank outsider, not priced up anywhere yet though.

Ginto won the Lawlors and went to the Bartlett fwiw.
