2026 Novice Hurdlers

For some reason BetGoodwin (whoever they are) are 33's, which they weren't showing as before.

I've checked and the price is there, for those that want to risk it. They also offer cash out on AP bets.
Betgoodwin are or were , a Local Bookie , for you and I , C.o.D.
Had a shop in Uckfield. , but I think it's all online now .
I think they Sponsor Chris Gordon , and have a few horses including Aucunrisque .

Just looking at Le Divin Enfant tomorrow and he ran in a juvenile race in France, beaten about 10 lengths by Lulamba. I highlighted him in OJA as one to keep an eye on, although I doubt tomorrow will tell us much. Priced up at 33’s for the Supreme, think it’ll just be a watching brief for myself.

1/6 to win tomorrow :ROFLMAO:

Horrific stuff!

Couldn't have been a weaker race to start off in

But very happy with Le Divin Enfant there 👌

Pleasantly surprised to see 25/1 available with reputable bookies for the Supreme and Turners. In previous years, he'd have been 12/1 after that. Likewise Sortudo. Perhaps they are too less fashionable types, but neither could've done more in their maidens.

He looks more of a galloping 2 miler to me.

Perhaps they'll both meet at Christmas.

Yeah very fair from the odd bookie I thought too

Yeah Paul seemed to think 2m for this lad for now anyway

Townend said: "He had the experience from his French jumping and, while it wasn't the deepest race, he had a nice experience out there and jumped for fun.

"I'd be hoping he could be a good standard as I got the feel of a good horse from him. I didn't dip the tank at all and that is usually a good sign.

"I'd say this trip (extended two-miles) suits and while he was busy today, that should knock the freshness off him. Even after the race, he was still fresh in himself."

For a man who tends not to say a great deal post race, I thought that was quite telling. Good standard and 2 miles is his trip. 25/1 Supreme with B365 looks fair to me.

By Saint Des Saints, wait until he takes to fences 👀

I've only backed him for the Turners, but I will have to get involved for the Supreme now albeit it still wouldn't surprise me if he's beat on the way to the festival over 2m before stepping up in trip.

I originally had him in the notebook as one for the mid trip but obviously hard to gauge from 1 sole run in FR.

Yeppp already cant wait to see him jump a fence, even from the evidence of him hurdling today think he'll be a weapon

Love Me Tender, Eachtotheirown, Gameball, Koktail Brut & Port Authority among the declarations for the Royal Bond on Sunday.

Love Me Tender has to give the whole field weight.

Looking forward to it. If LMT wins I do wonder if they keep to 2m despite some quotes suggesting the mid trip. Looks a neat hurdler. Time will tell.

Yeah, looks like willie only has 2 entered although theres loads and I might have missed one.

Dysart Dolomite looks the most interesting and definitely under the radar. Was triple figures on betfair.

Very similarly bred to Dysart Dynamo (same mother and grandad) although by Walk in the Park and not Westerner so might not be as much of a nob head when he races.

….just looking at DD myself, looks like the only Mullins runner in a race he used for Ballyburn and Facile Vega in recent years. He’s 33-1 Sup, 25s Turn, I didn’t notice a mention in Mullins stable tour.

Act Of Innocence backed like defeat was out of the question and duly obliged.

Got some solid bumper form. Maybe Nicky's Supreme dart?

Also, he was the horse that Constitution Hill made light work of in their Newbury 'day out'....just saying :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
Gotta feel a little for Nicholls, Act Of Innocence & Sinnatra both with him last season, with No Drama This End he might have had a strong novice hand for the spring festivals, hopefully he has something else lurking for the SNH.

To the eye he didn't look very quick in the bumper he won at Ayr, that was just my take, no idea on times etc....

Yeah he looked smart.
