For some potential superstar he's some price on Betfair for both races. Any chance the world's greatest hurdler that hasn't won a graded race yet, might actually even not turn up?

JP team quite often decide early
Especially when no other horses of theirs involved
Would not surprise me if mighty park is not confirmed for one of his races tomorrow

I'd kind of be surprised if he's left in both, but that's only my opinion and not based on any real knowledge.
I see no reason why they need to keep him in both and wait till Sunday.
Might as well stick your flag in the ground and see what the opposition does.

Not all situations are the same though.
I've actually criticised JP for making early decisions previously.
Like why not enter Fact to File in the Gold cup ??
Part of his thinking whilst deciding (probably only a small part) whether to supplement will be having to go back on this earlier decision.
Makes him look daft really.

Yep, very odd that he wasn't entered originally. Think he's got big enough balls to not worry about the 'told you so' if he decides to supplement him. I can't think of a good reason why he wouldn't supplement him .

Of course, the DRF didn't start until 2018. Although the G1 novice race existed before that, as the Deloitte, it was run over 2m2f so that stat isn't really relevant.

Yeah, I'm not really sure why he has stated 2013 when it doesn't tally up with when the race changed to 2m, alternatively he could have included 2m-2m2f in it.

I only stuck it up to be non-bias in my opinion, as I think graded form in general matters more so than just G1 form, which was the original post by @Killiney

Personally I think Talk The Talk is only being spoken of so highly because there is nothing else from Ireland that has looked useful over 2m, or at least hasn't be tried in a higher grade yet, El Cairos & Mighty Park, for example.

It's telling that the horses he has looked like beating or beaten are all heading up in trip even though they would not look to have too much ground to make up!
