2026 Novice Chasers

I'd say the safest thing to do is ignore it, and if he's out, then so be it.

All the people who are usually reliable are saying he's fine, only people saying he's out are barstewards enquiry, who I've never heard of until now.
 
Think this is to and thro is rattling our cage a bit with a few days to the festival.
Imagine if a whole group of horses didn’t make it! Can’t be that hard to fix the problem surely. I’m of for a drink.

Personally my bets are on and what will happen will happen now.

Saw a clip of Majborough there earlier so it's not the case that all Wednesday runners are on the ferry currently... Some may be
 
Am sure I remember last year that Willie’s Tuesday and Wednesday runners travelled together and were then followed by Thurs/Friday. Would explain Maj being there.

Am sure some stables Wednesday runners would be travelling today and although they will no doubt arrive it isn’t great prep for the poor horses.

Be on their feet for a much longer than desired period of time. Maybe @EnvoiAlien could comment?
 
There's always some mad shit that goes down on BFX, wouldn't be overly concerned. As Willie said on Allaho... GSI

The barstewards people might be right, maybe they do have a source that nobody else has. It's just to my knowledge they don't have a track record of knowing this stuff before other people. And people who are normally reliable are saying he's fine.

Final Demand not even a big price on exchanges at the moment. Basically no reaction to it. Very much looks a runner on there

It's not ideal as they will be stood in the horsebox for longer, wonder if the lads/lasses can go see the horses on the Holyhead ferry, went to france with some and you're not allowed in the area between departure & arrival which if you're delayed is a bit shit, some get stressed, they all love kicking the box doors, can't give them water in the box either as nowhere for it, only a haynet to keep them occupied.
As long as the seas are calm that'll make it a good journey, if a little longer than expected.
