2026 Novice Chasers

I found it odd that the possibility of him not turning up for the DFR was discussed on the RTC, made me wonder was I missing something as the exchanges have been solid of late.
Little nibbles like this just made me doubt his wellness

The money for him 2 weeks ago on the exchange said all was great imo, since then he's remained solid on there, just been a few quid for Lulamba which I'd guess means he's been working well ahead of his next run so they've come close together again, I wish I knew why Lydia asked the question as it came from nowhere, but there was no negativity from Ruby at all.
Guess we just have to wait and see for now, I'd not worry yourself about it mate.

Yep, Irish Arkle betting Guinness was commenting on👍
Apologies Lobos, I thought he was talking march...fecking idiot I am at times, I am not, repeat, not trying to raise anyones blood pressure.

GV was talking about the Irish Arkle, but I was talking the actual Arkle market on the exchange, as in if something is wrong, he'd be going for a walk in that market.

I wouldn't be bothered about the Irish Arkle market yet.

I sense a little loss of confidence in kopek des bordes. Drifter for Irish arkle. With doubts about Romeo target and Lulamba being shite, I’m going in again on Kargese🤞
I did this today as well. Still hoping kopek hacks up at DRF, but if not will have something against Lulamba.

Much as I love Lulamba, I'll be interested to see if him & Mambonumberfive clash ahead of the festival, I'd rather they wait until march but if it happens, I'm not sure there'd be that much between them, the two handicaps he started off in he probably learnt more than he would've just taking in a maiden & a novice chase, also the kempton run was decent, the track wasn't what he'd want but he clung onto them then picked them up comfortably in the finish, I said when he was 66's he was a fair price for the Arkle, after 3 good wins he still is a fair bet at 20/1 imo.

I fluked wtaf any race when he won at Newbury, as he won for me over hurdles when I was at Kempton last season.
Weren’t really thinking much about it until his last race!!
Now hoping I’ve stumbled onto a half decent bet, so hope you are right.

…W Mullins re Jade;

Her run at Christmas when second to The Big Westerner puts her in here with a right chance and I decided to go down the novice chase route rather than the beginners’ one which gives us the option of possibly going back over hurdles later in the season if things don’t work out, and possibly keeping her novice status for next year.

But I feel with the improvement since the last run she will be very competitive in this field.

Delighted with king of answers at Windsor today on a track that probably didn’t suit him , ran on great and would have won in another furlong , out to 33/1 with bet 365 and will go in again at that price for the ultima

Sounds very much from the above that she'll be Willies Mares Hurdle horse. Can't see her beating Wodhooh though.

The only way she’ll be reverting back to hurdles is if she’s a lucky winner or beaten on Sunday which isn’t likely barring a fall. She was impressive at Limerick last time out despite conditions being in The Big Westerner’s favour.

It’s not too much of a stretch to think she’ll be single figures again for Mares Chase if she wins cozily? And if Spindleberry’s owners get their way with a tilt at the Gold Cup she’ll be PT’s mount. I think the 25/1 currently available is worth the risk.
