Yep Skelton on Be Aware and Alnilam will both try and put the jumping to the test.

Very good run from Alnilam last time. The two went really hard in front and he impressed how well he stayed on up the hill.

He can’t jump and he’ll be taken off his feet by his rivals. Cue step up in trip 😉
Can’t jump is a tad unfair I’d say
Yes he was careful at some and a bit close at times, but he jumped them without ever looking like making a mistake that could lose the race.
Thought he was similar to Kopek with his debut, both a bit careful.
Their next couple of runs could see a difference now they’ve had the experience of a chase.

Kargese declared, straight into a Grade 2 over 2m at Cork on Sunday, against Kala Conti for Gordon & Tahaa for Joseph.

Any thoughts on Predators Gold who makes his debut over fences tomorrow in what looks a pretty hot beginners?

The current going should absolutely suit him, so see him as a big threat to Slade Steel, and even more so IF they have handicap plans for him!

Only a couple of bookmakers have him priced up, so would be nice to get some that offer cash out too.

Why would they go out in trip already ?
His 2m at Punchestown was the fastest 2m of the week so its not like he's slow, fences will see him going even faster now he has a run under his belt, Sandown is a big test though, have to meet the first of the railway fences on a stride or you're wrong at all 3 of them,we'll see how he gets on with them but he looked nimble enough on his feet to me lto,a touch too careful would be the only real gripe.

Kopek and careful are two words I’m surprised to see associated together.
A bit careful but largely pretty good.
Just re watched both their races, and imo Kopek a bit quicker jumper out the two.
Would obviously been better if Lulamba had been able to jump the 4 omitted fences due to sun.
Be fascinating to see how both progress.

Obviously Salver was running over a massively inadequate trip, but he's just dotted up, which is Lulamba form.

He had a big reputation last term and didn’t live up to it but we’ll see where he fits in among the novice chasers this time around. He’s ready to start.

Gordon Elliott stirring the pot tonight. Regarding Romeo Coolio he said the following:

"We’ve not decided whether we’ll go two miles or three miles with him yet, probably at the moment, three miles would be the answer - but we’ll see."

Definitely will be entered for both. Depends on how the opposition looks and ground conditions during the week. 4/1 TWAR
