2026 Novice Chasers

You getting into 365, Q ?
Cloudfare been messing up everywhere today.
Yeah, back on now.
I saw Faugheen machine post about Jade du Grugy and thought that would be a red light, but 365 was still offline for an hour or so.
But got back on about 15 mins back and it's greyed out.

Kargese cash out gone with 365
So the bookmakers remove cash out on Kargese for the Arkle on the Jade entry

They also reduce her price for the CH

They also reduce her price for the Mares Hurdle (365)

Yet NOT ONE bookmaker has increased her price for the Arkle !

I was blocked earlier (an hour or so ago) to the 365 website (not loading at all) but now can get access

Kaid D’Authie entered at Punchestown over 2m 2f Novice Chase on Sat

Where do we think Kaid will end up?…..Arkle too short?……BANC too far?…...too highly rated for Jack Richard’s?

Remember after his first hurdle run last year he was rated highly and talked of as a Supreme/Turners winner

If he jumps a fence well he could be an Arkle player based upon his hurdle rating from last year and his style of running ie from the front

Worse pokes at 50/1 methinks

BANC

I had this horse in the tracker and followed him into the DRF. Jumped onto Kopek, all because of one comment Mark Walsh said about him - something along the lines of “…. expecting more when he goes chasing”. Didn’t give me the confidence at the time that he’d be a top hurdler, but he remains in the tracker

I will leave for now and see how he does, but for me, BANC horse but he does feel short of the top grades novices

The historical stuff has to include any adjustments, I'm fairly sure the good people at the bible don't adjust ratings given in previous seasons.
There is a small chance the same season figures may, at some point, contain a figure that gets changed but I'm fairly sure @Saxon Warrior monitors this and amends in here...
Thats correct @Istabraq

After the seasons ended, things wouldnt get changed a year later for example.

But they are amended, in season, like any sensible ratings database would, when proof is there that they under or over-rated form in an earlier race.

It would be mad to just leave something too high or low when proof is there to correct it 👍

Something potentially of note

No Mundi in the morgiana

Anz/irancy/kargese and lossie all in

Maybe thats indication Mundi will be chasing
Didn't they say he was a likely runner in the Hattons Grace?

He is a massive horse and treated his hurdles with scant respect. I don’t think he will be targeted at the Arkle based on last seasons hurdle runs. At Punch over 2m3f in April he warranted the comment ‘kept on strongly, shaping like he’ll get further’. He had a 145 for after Punch run. I think Banc much more likely than the hcp at the festival for what it’s worth.

Kenny Alexander was a huge supporter of the new Mares programme when it was introduced so I suppose JDG going chasing does make it more probable that Kargese will go Mares Hurdle now . Does he own any other Mares that's likely to run in the race ? Kargese wouldn't interest me for the race though as I just can't see her seeing the race out well enough to win.

I think Kargese is an out and out 2 miler. Think she is more likely to go Champion Hurdle than Mares. Health Check. I have been wrong before !

He has murcia that could run in it

What's the verdict on Gameofinches? He is one i have an interest in but i don't think he will go to Cheltenham with Final Demand being in the same kind of ownership group and FD being the clear top dog. I see him being saved for an easier route like Aintree and being kept to the 2 and a half mile trip for the season.

One i will probably play 'just in case' when NRMB comes around if his price holds at a reasonable level until then
