…..a little surprised King of Answers isn’t more widely quoted for this, from what I can see, only 365 of the major firms have him in their list.

My first foray into this thread and that is disappointing. I have 2 horses jotted down for this so far and he is one of them. He looks a very good animal for staying trips. He neme dropped this race for him a while ago. Can't see him getting a favourable weight now either so I wouldn't be surprised if he missed Cheltenham

The Ultima has been the plan for some while

…..would just like to have him in the book NRNB as a bit of cover for this race but hoping there’ll be better on offer than 14-1.

That was when Myretown wasn't heading there. Wonder if they'll have a rethink now.
No. Has been the plan since before his last race.

Ultima has been the plan since before KOA ran at Windsor

That's completely irrelevant to what I said isn't it.

It's not been the plan for Myretown until yesterday.

Of course it has. The GN was always 2nd choice. The run yesterday was a last resort to get in.

Think someone said earlier that Wadge could ride Myretown again and Derek would pick KOA. Reckon thats very likely.

Come on mate  Surely even you don't believe what you type sometimes.

How would Grand National ever be 2nd choice over Ultima FFS.

I can't believe I've replied here haha

Was never thought of as a GN type. Completely different to Corach. GN was always going to be a risk. Didn't come off. Back home to plan A. Believe it.

He was always likened to Ahoy Senor who you'd never see in the GN.

Never passed my English O'Level after 3 attempts.
