“I wasn’t expecting that, I didn’t think she was ready enough and thought she’d need the run,” said the champion trainer’s assistant, David Casey.

“She’s a filly that came at the start of the season and we liked her, but she got injured and came back late.

“I think she’ll improve hugely for it. She’s in the Triumph but Cheltenham might come a bit quick.

“The owner (Kenneth Alexander) won the Grade One juvenile hurdle in Aintree last year with Murcia and maybe she might be one for that. Willie will make a plan for her and we’ll see what she’s like.”

He definitely said these things but reading it in black and white it seems less likely that she will pitch up in the Triumph than I perceived listening to him on the tv live. Be interesting if we hear from Willie over the next few days. I think she might be as good as any I’ve seen…over in Ireland at least.
 
Aye, I reckon they'll go Aintree now. Be a shame not seeing her have a go in the Triumph thought. It's wide open without Narciso. 20s NRNB is fair enough, for all it'll probably be a stake back scenario...

I remember mullins saying they'd probably skip cheltenham with burning victory when she won her debut around this time of year too. Can probably find the comments on irishracing.

Wouldn't be surprised if they threw her in after thinking about it. Race looks pretty open, and I cant imagine she had too hard a time of it today after crawling in the early stages and then winning easily.
 
Interesting interview with A Nicol today about minella study. So funny how he cant answer the question as such. He knows hes special but he has no gauge to base his talent on, in contrast. Love it ! He sounded so professional talking about his potential and qualities , but obviously just doesnt know! Its so nice to see and ironic. Many other trainers could of talked him up his back side! Would love it ! Would be magical actually
 
Has anyone heard if Feel Gut is out of the triumph? I've not seen or heard anything..... yet on the preview with Kevin Blake and Matt Chapman they mentioned he was out and had been for some time?

Was this said before or after Narcisco got ruled out and before or after his other Triumph horses got beat at the weekend? Do you know?

Paul Kealy was advocating for him to have a go here the other night but other than that i don't know.

Manlaga being backed for the triumph, looks a bit weak on the exchange for the fred winter, nothing on the lay side.

Did henderson say something at a preview? Or is it coming out of nowhere? Can't see anything on twitter about her.

Yeah I know he did a preview with jennings last night or day before, if he said something I assume it'd be all over twitter.

Seems to be coming from nothing, which is possibly more telling....

Potentially switches. If she does Winston Junior definitely runs in the FW. Their respective participations seem linked for some reason.
