2026 Juveniles

….from the M Seror stable tour, maybe one @darlojim knows more about;

Miss Des Boullats

She is a cheeky filly and when I ran her over fences at Pau, she ran out at the second fence and unseated her rider. She is a bit hesitant over fences, already in the morning she can be cheeky and the other day, she was probably a little too fresh. She didn’t do it viciously, but she kind of went left, right, left and unbalanced her jockey. She was ridden by Bryony (Frost) and together they had won the Listed race at Auteuil. She has been successful in Paris and would now have to run in a graded race, which is maybe a bit difficult. So, I thought it would be amusing to see how she does in England on a different racecourse. I am going to enter her in the JCB Triumph Hurdle Trial in Cheltenham on the 24th of January. I think she has the right attributes for that racecourse, so why not try it. When I told Bryony, she was happy to go forward with this idea.
“A Cheeky Filly” eh….looks like another to be added to Lobos’s Harem!😂

Wouldn't be of Triumph standard for me

Boodles type, maybe, but mark is 128, rather have others few lbs above her all day

Good runs for both Proactif and macho man there. Both in the triumph picture after that. Proactif looked like he had plenty in the tank.

Looked like Macho Man muddled the last? Would need to watch again, which may have checked his momentum but not sure he would have got up anyway.

Both look nice prospects though.

Does JP send one to the Supreme then ??

Macho Man (Willie/Paul) - 5/4F - 5lb pen here, 1 Run 1 Win in France, and an RPR of 113 (best in this race)
Proactif (Willie/Mark/JP) - 2/1 - 5lb pen here, 1 Run 1 Win in France, and an RPR of 94

^^^

Whoever did those RPRs btw, needs the sack

Yeah Paul looked to have to get reorganised. Also jumped right 3 and 2 out (looked short of room). Good introduction.

He was never really as fluent as Proactif.

Must admit, I know Proactif done the donkey work, so to speak, but I expected the pair of them to pull well clear of the 3rd, which they didn't/

Narciso smashed that one at Leopardstown over Christmas.

Mate, the French RPR's are definitely to be ignored, they don't even have full form on the RP for French racing.

….looking like Proactif a best 8-1 (general 7-1) and Macho 16-1 after that race.

Fair, but Narciso had had a run before that. And not too sure the 3rd ran much of a race last time. Will have to see what happens.

Yep, Narciso looks to be worthy fav but he wasn't that special first time up so all to play for.
Looking a decent bunch this season.

Be very hard for Mark to get off Narciso, but depends how the race goes @ DRF

Mange is no mug, and will test him. Connections just hope the race pans out how they hope

But Proactif is a serious serious tool in my book.

Munsif ran a nice race again before once again folding in the final furlong. They might want to get his wind done and get him qualified for the Fred Winter

Supreme Darlo??

Took a view that if MM couldn't go past today he won't be going past at Cheltenham, so cashed my bet out on him for no loss which was nice!
