2026 Juveniles

Narciso Has is the right favourite for Triumph. Looks very good. Liked the run of Selma De Vary.

Selma huge huge player in March

Narciso very good winner, stays so strong.

Selma was OK, but she was ridden to get the trip, sat out the back, cold.

Narciso had a freebie on the front end, however, being alone and doing the dog work like he just done is not always easy so fair play to him.

Mange Tout fell in a hole trying to take on Narciso near the front end but wouldn't give up fully on her yet.

….Narciso into 5/4 with 365 for TH.

Beaten Spring horses have better record in Triumph

There is often an obvious reason though.
Today Narciso looked on another level to these and staying looks to be no problem at all.
Another well judged ride from Walsh

I wouldn't call that a freebie - he's set a solid gallop on that ground

I'm not knocking him, I have him covered plenty, but he was allowed to set the pace and tempo of the race, that's getting a freebie IMO.

She's no problem with the trip, probably just didn't want to give her too hard a time first time for closutton

She's already a winner over 2m1 1/2 in FR on deep ground

Be tough to beat Narciso now. Cheltenham would be a concern for me for the 2nd, preliminary’s and being dropped out the back in a bigger field…

Selma was given a "tester" to see where she stood. Rich Richi said before he expected a good run, she'd like the ground but didn't expect her to win. And that's exactly what he got. I would back the first two for March for sure.

You'd much rather be out in front than trying to make ground up on todays going, I'm not crabbing anyone just saying the obvious, out in front gives you such an advantage, any that win today from off the pace will need to be marked up imo.

It's a shame she was rated so highly in France, she's be a right bet in the Boodles, as I think the course would suit her more so than the new course.

Jack was keen to put pressure on with Mange on two occasions but she struggled to bridge the gap. I know he led throughout but I don't think the remainder wanted to pressure him at the speed they were going on the ground. Selma also made up ground from off the pace which has barely been done all weekend.

Either Selma is a monster, or NH set a pretty fair gallop haha.

Mange Tout made too many little mistakes to actually bother NH enough though.

NH did set a fair gallop, In no way am I disputing that, but he still had a solo on the front end :ROFLMAO: I think in that ground no one wanted to go with him, which is fair enough, and like I said, he's done the donkey work, so to speak, so fair play to him!

Would have been an absolute shoe in job

Said to few that was my early boodles pick

But with the G1 entry, was obvious they were thinking higher for her

I think she can go all the way

4 1/2L to make up on a horse that was hard race fit, got to dictate on that ground

Both big big runners though

Real strong stayer Narciso

Given that she'll come on for the run that was massive. I was marking up Talk The Talk for coming from the rear yesterday so I'll have to do the same today. That's not a 10/1 shot anyway in my book. I'd have her a closer second favourite. I'd be surprised if Townend didn't ride her.
