2026 Juveniles

Mange Tout Timeform 132p

Mange Tout, a wide-margin winner at Compiegne on her only start in France, had given her supporters a scare before ultimately landing the odds at Down Royal on her first start for Gordon Elliott as she looked vulnerable until the runner-up, Wizard of Odds, blundered away his chance at the second last. The pair reopposed in the Grade 3 juvenile at Fairyhouse on Sunday but on this occasion Mange Tout was clearly superior and no juvenile in Britain or Ireland is rated higher.

Mange Tout, refitted with the hood she had worn in France, settled better than she had at Down Royal and quickened up well in the straight to take the measure of market rival Narciso Has, the Auteuil debut winner who was making his first start since joining Willie Mullins. Mange Tout showed the benefit of her recent run and extra experience to draw two and three-quarter lengths clear of Narciso Has, who was nine and a half lengths clear of third-placed Adrienne.

Fair bit of blue across the board for Charme De Faust this evening 👀

Cheers darlo. Managed to snare the 25s before the market broke because of this post and probably another online bookie lifetime ban if it goes in  Somebody somewhere knows something about the targets. Obviously ahead of schedule

….thats a proper haircut, Hills still 20-1 (without boost).

A bit of money on the exchanges, but still available at 25's on there.

Personally one I'm happy to leave.

Be interesting to see whats caused it.

Willie said in his tour could be one for the Triumph

After that, joe chambers said probably one for next year

Not that Joe would probably have much idea of the plans for them😂

I dont expect her to be seen until post Christmas at the earliest though, if she is seen

Most Triumph winners in the last 15-20 years have not debuted until well after Xmas so you could view it as a positive.

Has there been many WM juveniles that ran in the autumn in France and performed in the triumph, I can only think of Zenta...

All ran in the Autumn in France, then exported to Willie, so it will be very interesting to see how they get on.

Haut En Couleurs was purchased late, before finishing 3rd, first time out for Willie, in the Triumph hurdle. Lady Vega Allen was similar, as was Place De La Nation, who finished 4th & 5th respectively in last seasons Triumph.

Only four of the last twenty Triumph winners had their first hurdles run after 10th January-Gaultstats.

Really?? Thought it was a few more than that ?

Just looked....that's correct. If you stick Poniros in there as well that's 25% of the last 20 winners so definitely not a negative.

That was a very quick turn around for Lady Vega Allen to run over Christmas in Leopardstown

No ,I included Poniros. So back to 20%.👏😂

So there's a 20% chance we haven't seen the Triumph hurdle winner yet, suits me as I've 5 backed and only 1 hasn't ran yet 😆
